$400 off for a tablet/laptop Chromebook. Been tossing up between this, the duet and the entry level iPad. Anyone have any recommendations?

    looked at a few reviews on this and the build quality is good but the processor is a let down and causes stuttering

      Yeah that sounds like a real dealbreaker for me too. I had a play on the Duet recently and it was a stuttery mess just browsing around and on YouTube. It doesn't seem like this is a lot better despite the price hike. Especially if 4g isn't that important to you.

        Yeah I got a duet and was hoping this might be a good upgrade made me sad that this was an issue with the performance as looks great otherwise

    I picked up one on the weekend. Linux apps are a bit slow compared to my Intel ChromeBook, but otherwise pretty good. I wish the keyboard was backlit and that it had a headphone jack. Almost looking forward to going to the CBD office on Wednesday to test the CAT19 LTE…

    It does not have an Intel CPU. It's a SnapDragon 7c AKA SC7180.

    Yes, the micro SD sits in the SIM tray same as on most phones. I put a Samsung 512GB in mine, working fine…

  I went and viewed one of these on the weekend. The specs are great for the price, but the ultimate issue was that Chrome OS and the processor are sluggish. The keyboard was fine. Another let down is that there's no USi pen included, but is included in global release. Super frustrating as this has been on clearance in parts of the states for around $250.

  The pen costs an extra 60-100 and isn't even the one that allows wireless charging.

  Just my two cents. I ended up grabbing a tab s7 fe as I didn't need a keyboard.

  soc really lets this down, rumors say 7c gen 3 devices come out at the end of this year so I would wait if you really want a arm chromebook
