  • I have the Q30's - mainly just for TV watching once everyone has gone to bed. After a bit of research most reviews don't think these are better or even worth an upgrade but interesting to hear other peoples thoughts? I'm tempted to buy them with the intention of returning them but I know that some stuff just gets binned instead of restocked so I try not to do that anymore..

ANC takes a very slight hit over the Q30, so if you're buying these for travel, then probably not worth the upgrade. What is worth the upgrade is the Sony LDAC codec for much higher quality audio bitrate. While Sony never specified what LDAC stands for, I'm pretty sure they want us to think it's Lossless Digital Audio Codec.

      • Thanks for the help, LDAC doesn't mean that much to me as they're just mainly TV watching headphones, what about comfort wise, around the same?

Not a huge upgrade. Having working Q30 too, I'm not getting these.

      • Yeah that's pretty much where I'm at too, thanks for the help.

  • Tempted to buy as my OG Sony 1000x band snapped and don’t really want to put out $$$$ for a mark 4/5- Anyone rate these?

  • The Q30 are pretty good, except ANC/etc turns off when you plug in a wired cable. I believe the Q35 keeps ANC going when wired. Noise cancelling seems good. Q30 mics are a bit average, but Q35 has better mics.
