Yep I agree completely. This just gives companies validations to charge stupid amounts for products because people think “wow this gpu is such a good deal at $2500 because last year it was $3500”.

Just keep in mind that 40xx series will be out in ~3 months time at the higher end.
For this sort of money you could probably jag the 4080 or 4090 which is sounding like 70-80% better perf than the 3090. Better ray tracing intergration too.
Shouldnt have miners to combat with supply this time round. Inflation will also deter some usual buyers.
