Go buy a wharfedale tower speaker for $400 and stick it under your TV. By your logic a full size tower would sound better for 1/3rd of the price
I have a Samsung bar from a few years ago, and it may as well be mono for the sound it produces. But I'm not naive enough to think things haven't improved a lot with these Atmos soundbars. Lots of speakers, with discrete channels pointed in different directions has to be good
I don't know I had the Bose previously and that produced some pretty great sound, I want to replace it with one of these post having a play with it at a friends house.
