This TV looks like a bargain (and hopefully will sell for $810). Do you know if it has a games mode to eliminate as much processing as possible to avoid lag when playing games? I can't find an answer online from LG.

The 40% off Wharfedale looks good, how are they anyone own this brand?
Ive owned a few sets before, including the set i linked earlier (purchased them last year) pretty decent, the build quality is top notch, the finish etc is immaculate as you would expect.
Ill wait for a audiophile to come along and give you a reccomendation about their sound, but for myself (primarily watch car/bike racing, action and horror movies) they go pretty well, nice and clear, plenty of bass.
I think the 825 model is a better set.

I'm sure the speakers would be really good for the prices. Wharfedale does make good speakers but they're more known for their Diamond range instead of whatever JB stocks.
Yeah but Diamond range is a lot more expensive but for $500 with the 825 model should be better than all those Japanese brands, like Sony, Pioneer, etc.

what strikes me is their speaker range is very limited these days. ironic since they are called jb HI-FI
demo'd some of the "high-end" wharfdale speakers whilst i was there and they just aren't as good compared to the dali they had there.
reading some reviews online the AT series seems to be the 2nd lowest series of speakers released by Wharfedale.
wharfedales are at the lower end of the hi-fi spectrum
with good amps they're ok especially for the money, wouldn't call them great though
While this may be true, they are very well reviewed, especially their Diamond series…one of the best bang-for-your-buck series of speakers you can get, IMO…
Pity JB only stock the subwoofer from the Diamond series, not the speakers…I wonder if they can order it in….
