  • Will adding this attachment to a cordless or corded drill make it just as effective as a hammer drill? I can't seem to find any reviews on these types of attachment

$20 is about what I paid for a cheap hammer drill.

Try as I might, I just can't kill it.

I wouldn't reckon on this attachment lasting any longer than my $20 drill - and it doesn't come with the added benefit of… well… being a drill.

Of course, a $20 hammer drill won't last long if used every day in a trades environment. Not pretending that it would. But neither will a $20 rattler attachment on a conventional drill. Might even shorten the life of your conventional drill by beating up on the bearings in a way that they were never designed for.

    • this is suppose to be used with a cordless drill… as writen in the description. your $20 drill is useless without a power source.. if you could find a cordless hammer drill for $20 then i would 100% agree with you

  • Bunnings was selling these on chuck out a while ago for $10 and they still couldn't get rid of them.

  • Yes the Hammer head will work with a 12 volt drill or larger.
they are quite well constrcuted, they were designed in the USA but like a lot of things nowdays are made in china.
its a good tool to throw in the shed or tool box if you dont have a hammer drill
customer feed back has been good with them so far but if you do have an problems just let me know
