Is there a noticeable difference in quality between watching this on disc vs Disney Plus streaming?
Yes, Higher Bitrate video, better quality sound. But if you are using a sound bar and a cheap 4k TV, you probably won't notice anything.
True, which is why I use a 4k blu ray player.
But I have to admit, Disney+ streaming is pretty impressive, supporting Atmos and Dolby Vision. I find the quality to be very good. Depending on the movie, you may not notice much difference, as some 4k blu rays are not really taking full advantage of the capabilities. The 4k LoTR & the Hobbit discs are the only ones where I was blown away by the quality.
LoTR and these Star Wars 4K on disc is pretty good. I see a noticeable difference between SW 4K disc and Disney+ stream.
It’s not 4K disc, but Disney+ (and AppleTV) are very high quality streaming. Make Binge look like a joke.

As someone who loved the original triology and 'liked' the prequels, i think you would have to 'pay me' to watch the squeals again
Decent price if you need it now but generally better to wait until BOGOF to pick up the set.
