$30 was waaaaay to much for games you play once or twice just for the nostalgia.
7.50 is more reasonable but still clearly "Nintendo pricing".

The price is practically identical across all platforms. Also at $6, you're paying less than a dollar per game, and they all have excellent emulation quality. It's more than a reasonable price.
$6 will barely get you a beer these days. So even if you play each game only once, still good value.

I rather play retro style games new and old because most modern AAA games are unfinished full priced micro transaction cancer this days.
I tried going back to contra and the megaman games a couple of years ago, it was an exercise in futility. 40 year old me has zero chance against 6 year old me in classic games.
It's all about practice. You can get there, it's just when you where 6 you had more free time and persistance

I bought the Castlevania collection having not really played them before. I understand the impact they had at the time but I wasn't really interested in playing beyond the first few levels.
Luckily they do have save states in the emulator!
These are the games I grow up with, bought all 3, thanks heaps
