I made a purchase through JB online, and checked out using Zip. Nothing is showing in my app…don't even have the "Rewards Balance" section showing in the app. First time doing this with one of these offers. Did I do the wrong thing and should have gone via the app (offers) to make the purchase?

What do you reckon my chances are of cancelling and reordering with 4x gift cards that I used?
Note Zip's cashback redemption is in increments of $20 so this won't just be a one and done if you want that last $10 "discount".
Alert:
Just bought a $300 gift card on JB's website using laptop and paid by putting in details of ZIP single use card.
Received order confirmation, tax invoice and the actual gift card from JB.
But NOT the reward in ZIP, can see the $300 transaction marked at pending in ZIP.
My last hope is to wait until the $300 is charged from pending, and get the reward, but I think it's unlikely because normally the reward comes instantly after making the order.
Unless I'm doing something wrong, then the loophole might have been fixed?
The worst $300 spent for me this year so far, for nothing.
I am afraid that it looks like the loophole was fixed? Because yes normally the rewards kicked in instantly. That would be devastating if this is true.
Have you checked your account that you had the offer? Did you just signed up for the Zip?

Sometimes there's a delay to rewards if you purchase late at night. Usually it should appear by midday the next day.

I don't think you're supposed to be able to, but I've done it in store before, but AFAIK there's no way to do it online.
Can confirm this works when buying a $300 gift card in store with zip card via Apple Pay. Just did it and works perfectly :)
Used the single use card and tried to buy a email deliveryJB gift card online. I got the rewards, but JB have cancelled my order. Not sure what happens now?
Mine also just got cancelled. If your try buy again will it still trigger the reward second time round?
Worked for me buying GC online. Also had $10 saved from previous offer so could claim 3x $20
Have you received the actual GC in your email? A few people are saying their GC purchase got canceled later on.
Yep I did wait for gc before redeeming zip reward
If it works correctly, first you'll receive Email confirmation, then tax invoice
then about 15 mins later the actual GC

Highly unlikely, Id imagine they can easily track the # of rewards activations per account.
Only reason why gift card works is that they can't track the spend if you use a single use card, but they can if you checkout and pay with zippay directly.

Regarding this deal is this an online thing or a in store thing.
Obviously my first call of action is to see if they will price match and more likely they will need me to go to store to do it.
As it’s a price match if they do one who provides the cashback zip or jb hifi?
Can they as I’m looking for a price match not to provide me this cashback as they are price matching.
As always jb can sometimes be more for things than other places so they might think the price match saving is enough.
I obviously want to gain from the price match if happens and cashback also.
My other option would be to purchase the $300 gift card with the one off payment card and get my cashback then. But obviously price match needs to be agreed prior.
I could then try find the remaining with discount gift cards if I can get any.
I know my Suncorp don’t offer right now as they are changing it or possibly it’s stopping we shall see where I get 5%

So regardless of it’s a price match or not if I spend the over amount with zip I qualify right.
As that’s another reason to use zip for that cash back.
How long does the link last for to purchase and can you you combine a gift card and zip to make the purchase was was looking to maximise my savings.

Can someone tell me if I have used zip pay for this promo and then I try to use gift cards for remaining amount and store is not able to scan the bar codes does this mean as I canceled the purchase with zip I loose out on the deal?
And having got a cashback in April different amount do I even qualify for this one as this is different.
But as I did the zip option first and my gift cards was not clear enough I had to cancel whole transaction then does it mean I will not get this cashback deal if I try again?

One of the users reported that for canceled transactions, Zip reversed their cashback so I'd think this should be the case if they canceled your whole transaction.
April cashback is different from this. Maybe worthwhile to read previous conversations as they have been answered before.
Not sure what you mean the transaction was canceled as i could not get my jb gift cards to work.
I used an jb perk voucher as well.
But it was only after I canceled due the gift cards not scanning I thought what have I done as the cashback will be lost.
Now as I have canceled the purchase and jb refunded me my zip payment, it has not been refunded back yet I’m wondering how long that takes.
It is showing my cashback in my account but that’s probably not valid as zip was canceled.
I’m not sure what you mean are you saying I can try again and get the cashback? But it end’s on the 29th and I assume that if my zip is officially not refunded back in my zip and that my account is showing cashback if I try again prior it become a bigger mess.

Then tried to use gift cards to cover the remaining but had issues getting cards to scan in store.
Ended up canceling the whole transaction and store refunded.
Not thinking at the time I realised what did I do there was cashback on the spend.
I see the amount comes off my zip and I see the cashback but it’s all been canceled at store.
My big question will I get this cashback again as I did cancel the transaction, yes it officially shows the cashback on my account and payment taken.
Do you guys know how long it takes zip to refund and I assume they will remove the cashback given as well as it was canceled obviously.
If my refund shows up and say my cashback taken away will I get another shot? has anyone done a transaction before and canceled it and seen there cashback removed and did it again and got cashback again.

I know in store you can use multiple payments and I assume you can online which I wish to do, but in store you can select how much to use I’m sure on a given gift card.

I contacted zip and they said I would get the cashback if I make the purchase again today. I took screenshot shots of certain chat’s and was emailed the proof it would be done automatically or by then manually.
I’m just unsure if they can be trusted as have read certain things about them.

The problem is how clued up are they they said the promo ended last night I had to take screenshot to prove it’s not.

Jb could not follow through with transaction yesterday so I said cancel and they gave me receipts to say it was.
But zip are saying they have not canceled there side lol, im sure jb is going to let me leave store without a refund lol.
So one I had to prove promo was still on by screenshot as they said it had ended.
They say my refund from yesterday be done asap today but then say jb never canceled.
And they said yes if I make another purchase I will get the cashback again either automatically or manually and sent email to say I will.
But on comments I have found from some members about zip in general they where called dodgy and all sorts.
I believe it takes a good few days to refund back into my zip account and then saying store has not canceled they just want to hold on to it bit longer.
All this should have been very easy but has just been a nightmare and that’s my luck these days.
Unless I have missed saying so when using multiple payments online at jb I should use the one time payment card to use as zip.
I also think I may need to add the gift cards first to reduce the overall amount then pay with the one of payment card on zip.
