          Yeah they just mean they will provide their own local support… the Q&A tab on the product listing confirms these are grey imports.

      Used this link to price matched with sony online when shopback had 5% cashback. But next day I found shopback increased the cashback to 8%, then chated to sony cancelled my order and put another one with 8% cashback from shopback.
      Just got my camera delivered yesterday.
      PS: the Tamron 35- 150mm f2-2.8 I ordered from George Cameras in April, I was told that it would not arrive until September, but it arrived at the same day as my A7IV yesterday.

              @nadan: thanks legends! i spoke to them in chat first and they confirmed it can be price matched (sent them the ebay link)
              then i put the price match through and the chat agent said they'd follow up with their team to sort it out. will update if they deny it but fingers crossed

    That’s a good price!! Paid $4k for mine just in November.
    Great camera. Mines been in for repairs for close to 2 months though. Shutter dial on the back started changing the shutter speed by its self when in manual and would cycle through shots by itself when in playback.
    First time having any issues with Sony Alpha.

        Yeah all covered under warranty. Bought from Camera House - Central Markets (Adelaide). Contacted Sony, they approved the warranty repairs after I sent them a video of the fault. The part had to be ordered in from Japan. But what should have been a week's repair just keeps blowing out.
        Have heard from a few different sources that anything that needs to be ordered in for Sony is taking ages.
        I still have my Sony A7III so have been using that for photo and my FX3 for video work.
        About to buy one more lens, then I'll qualify for the Sony Imaging Pro membership. Then can get a free loan camera.

    I purchased a few items (Via sony price match) and paid using cash rewards 8% offer.

    I had just recently received this reply back as they consider price match a discount apparently. I want to declare this to the whole ozbargain community and bring this out to light. Be warned guys! use shopback instead is my suggestion to be safe than sorry

    This was their email reply back to me after I submitted a request:

      I noticed CR currently has 10% cashback at Sony. I was tempted to pull the trigger on the Sony A7IV that's sitting in my cart but I might hold off until Shopback offer 8-10% cashback instead.

        FYI- the Shopback terms and conditions are identical to Cashrewards.

        Either loads of people have been getting lucky or Cashreward's rep misinterpreted the terms.

        Personally, I'd interpret "exclusive discounts provided to employees, corporate and commercial partners" as only excluding those discounts provided to employees, etc. as opposed to excluding all exclusive discounts.

        But I have skin in the game as I purchased through Cashrewards so I'm really hoping it tracks through ahaha
