For any fishos reading, Davo's has the 602 and 662 Shimano Catana rods for $45 and they are a great cheapish lightweight rod for anyone who is interested in a lure/soft body rod or light bait rod for estuaries or fresh water. Absolutely not top of the line graphite blah blah but for $45 they are excellent. I have a couple of the longer ones
Davo's customer service is appalling
I bought a rod from them, it fell apart in my hands and they want me to pay shipping back to them or pay for shipping to return it to Shimano.
If you are brave enough to buy from them, you better hope that it arrives in perfect condition. Because if it isn't, you will be paying even more to get what you bought originally!
I will never buy another thing from Davo's tackle. Please think carefully before throwing away your money.
Most stores require you to pay return shipping if you are making a defect claim. Then they refund it if they agree it’s a defect and not you running over the rod with your car by mistake and claiming it’s a defect.
