Glad to see a Sydney vendor finally step in with an EOFY PC deal.

Looks very similar in price and spec to the Techfast deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/707005 (upgrade to 12700f was $249 bringing total to $2177)

Judging by the number of upvotes, that wasnt particularly a good deal…

With the DIY and prebuilt pricing growing closer each day due I'm guessing people with 2k+ to spend on a PC would rather spend a little more and get better spec'd parts (K series GPU for integrated graphics or overclocking, 1tb gen 4 SSD etc) rather than the unknown/generic parts.

Vendors seem to be making their deals cheap by using cheap CPU/MOBO/RAM/SSD or getting rid of their old stock rather than negotiating a bulk buying deal from their suppliers and passing on the savings.

        Examples of small differences:
        12700f and 12700k = +$100
        B660 DS3H AX and Z690 UD AX = +$90
        Kingston NV1 500gb and Samsung 970 Evo Plus = +$93
Intel cooler and ML240L liquid cooler $87

If these vendors negotiated with suppliers I'm sure they could put out more enticing systems with similar costs

  • How well does the stock cooler perform in this kind of setup?

  • Can you offer a motherboard upgrade? That motherboard will not make the most of the CPU:

  • Hey @momojuju, I've contacted you via another post quite some time ago but I haven't had a reply yet regarding a purchase that I have an issue with. Could we please get this resolved?

  • Hi @momojuju,

Do you have alternatives for the 3080 apart from Gigabyte, and could you specify what brand RAM/Storage you use?
