    Warning … the power button is right next to the Delete and Backspace … watch out for accidental presses .. it really seems like a bizarre design .. I really dislike my HP work laptop with this keyboard layout .. some reading material …

      I have been using a Dell laptop which also have power button and next to the Delete key, but I have never manage to accidentally press it. First world problems aye?

          I agree it's useful information as it is a braindead place to put a power button - but negging the whole deal is a bit much. Warning was fine.

      some review said when you accidentally pressed the power button, it does nothing!
      it does not go straight into shut down or sleep mode, you have to hold for a few seconds to activate the sleep mode…

        Very quick press is ok.

        Slightly long press causes an issue with sleep .. has caught me out three times in about 2 months ..

    i think it is a must, so we can just use usb c to connect to external monitor instead of using dedicated displayport or hdmi ?

              100w 3070 will probably match 130w 3060

              Legion 5 pro has 130w 3060 from memory, for example

              3070 is better because quieter and cooler for the same performance compared to 3060. plus more DLSS and RT cores

    hmm this seems like a very good deal. was about to buy the kraken for $1700 (with free kb worth $100), with full power 3060 and qhd in a smaller & lighter body, now I'm not too sure.

    There's also the HP Victus with 3060 which comes down to around $1200 with this deal, or the 3050ti which ends up under $1k.

    This seems like a good deal, but is there really much difference between this and the Victus? The only big diff looks to be the gpu, rest seems almost identical
    and any idea how much better would this be over the Kraken? That one looks much sleeker, but suddenly less of a deal if this is basically the same price and might crush it

      HP Laptop are budget laptops, but current Omen series (2020-2021) have earned high reviews from reputable youtubers like DAVE2D.
