    Circulon sucks unfortunately. Poor quality.

Not in my experience. Have had this set for about three years and they have held up really well with almost daily use.

We have near on the same set and value for money they are better quality than most other brands out there but the circulon of today is not the same as their old cookware. The twice as hard as stainless steel claim I genuinely question because our pots have heavy wear on the outer rim and we are only using plastic/wooden utensils. They still have plenty of life in them. My wife and I both like the handles on these units.

  • Not expert here though i am told to avoid aluminium for cooking and use 28/10 steel..

That's just what Big Steel want you to think.

      … /s

      • hmm ok, its typo 18/10 though tried a pan and so far so good..

        • Yeah all my cooking gear is either stainless/carbon steel or cast iron. Lasts forever. Food generally doesn't stick if you pick the right material for the food type, and keep them seasoned.

    • It is not exactly aluminium inside - a non-stick Teflon like coating. Which is probably one of the best from that World.
But anyway it is a waste of money IMO. I had to spend around $300 every year to replace skillets (and listening to my wife's complains the second half of year) untill we switched to Solidteknics.

  • Can't be used with induction

    • Spec on Amazon says they can be used with induction - steel plate on the bottom.

  • Had this set for about 8 years, the non stick is still holding up very well. And the deep lip on the sauce pans is great for draining liquids out.
    Amazing set.

  • Used to use these.
The food started getting caught in the ridges after a few years. Then after about 7 years numerous pans lost portions of non stick totally. Circular warranty issued by giving a credit to be used on their online store.
Purchased another pan ( which cost more than the credit) which lasted maybe a year before problems.
Used to love these 18 years ago , but the more recent version doesn't last as long.

  • The ridges on Circulon are meant to help with food release but I find eventually food gets stuck in them and contributes to losing the non stick.
