Wow! Talk about a past from the past!

  • got any 60cm induction cooktop sales?

Why would one buy this instead of induction?

      Pacemaker

      • In-laws had to get rid of their induction. But they certainly didn't get this. These are the reason renters trash houses.

        • Please elaborate. What did they replace the induction with and what is the reason renters trash the house?

@pOint01: Cause they get upset by the standard of appliances provided to them.
Or can't light a joint on these elements.

@pOint01: Father has a pacemaker. Renters trash rentals because they are given these ugly appliances. Clearly a bad joke.

        • Why did they get rid of induction?

          • +1

@placard: Induction elements can interfere with pacemakers if you get too close.

  • Holy moley! Why, just why?

I am 62yo and have never seen anything that awful in any house I have ever been in!

When you can get a decent Ikea induction stove for $500 it just doesn't make sense to buy one of these god-awful things

Yes you may have to upgrade the circuit to the stove, but again that extra initial expense is worth it.

Night and day difference using induction compared to this awful ceramic electric version.

    • Would you know of the circuit upgrade requirements for this?
