Hey guys, we found a pretty good K'gari (Fraser Island) package. At the moment you can get a 3 night stay at the 4* Kingfisher Bay Resort including daily breakfast and return passenger ferry transfers (vehicle transfers extra) from just $599 per couple! We've checked on booking.com and the same 3-night stay for our example dates would be $720 for just the hotel (excluding breakfast, transfers).

Travel Dates:
Available for stays on selected dates from 15th June – 16th September, and 4th October – 15th December
Deal excludes school holiday dates, public holidays and long weekends.

Total Package Price:

    It's a great resort, a real jurassic park feel. Nice pools, though a little cold when the sun's not out. Never heard of 'Fraser' island though.

            @M00Cow: I've only been alive in a world where people are respectful and call things their correct names and are capable of adapting after checks your notes 9mths.

            I think you'll find the staff on the island have all received and wear their updated uniforms, and most of the signage has changed. They should rename Eli Creek and Lake Mackenzie too.

      Yes, you can take 1 kid according to their Extra Guest Policy:

      Package is for 2 people, a 3rd person surcharge of $59 per night is applicable for persons 4yrs or older, payable at time of booking. Maximum of 1 extra person only, sleeping in existing bedding, with accommodation and all inclusions. Infant Policy: One infant (under 4) may stay free of charge, with a cot available to hire for $10 per night.

    Nothing will ever beat the 2011 deal of $100 for 2 people for one night with ferry transfers.

    If only we could go back to 2011's prices.

      I just checked the resort website and it looks like you can only take 1 kid.

      In their terms and conditions they say:

      Package is for 2 people, a 3rd person surcharge of $59 per night is applicable for persons 4yrs or older, payable at time of booking.
