      When I ordered some 4TB's from them last year they arrived in 3 days. Not sure if they're still express posting them.

    8tb ironwolf ST8000VN004 @ $269.10 + surcharge isn't to bad either.

  • Just out of curiosity, would these drives be alright just for use in a desktop PC as well as just a storage drive?

    • Yes - but if you're going to use it for storing games and applications and working data etc then you'd be much better off with a cheap 4TB SSD instead. Mechanical hard drives like this one are much better suited to bulk storage - performance is basically terrible for "interactive" use.

      • Yeah nah, I wouldn't be installing games or trying to run them off the drive, it'll just be for straight storage.
