I’d pay the bit extra for the MX500 over the BX500

      Any day.

    • I bought a BX500 for some software experiments & it runs flawlessly. About 200MB/sec, not brilliant but it works. I've bought more.

      • Chia? :-P

        • Is that still worth doing? Or only if you’re keen to nerd about?

    • Whys that?
      Thanks

Faster, more durable and doesn’t suffer serious slowdowns with large file writes due to having a dram cache

    https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/asrock-radeon-rx-6700…

600~ for a 6700 xt seems pretty good.

I'm looking for one, but still not sure which brand to go for.

Does anyone know how this would compare to the MSI two fans version?

I'm mainly interested in whichever is quietest when not running hard.

    • My brother has the asrock. Fans turn off under light load

unless you talking about gpu from 8 yearas ago, nowadays all gpu pretty much either fan-stop or barely audible even next to it under light load.

      • Ah my current GPU is about 6 years ago, its been a while since I upgraded.

        That's good to know.

Do you know if there are any other quality considerations? It seems like when it comes to 6700 xt's there's pretty much the three fan asrock, the 3 fan gigabyte and the two fan MSI available right now for 600~-650~

for Radeon GPUs, stick with Powercolor Red Devil or Sapphire Nitro+

@Dalgona456: Prices for those seem to be 200-300 more than the other brands I see posted here pretty often. Is there that much difference?

            • @HolyFosh: I find it more reliable and better cooling. For some people it won't worth it, I understand. Also the build quality is much better.
I recently bought Gigabyte Gaming OC 6600XT for my brother, its good 1080p card but the build felt like cheap plastic.

    • maybe AXRX 6700 XT 12GBD6-3DH when its drops to $550

I have that 1TB SSD in my PS4 Slim, it makes a world difference despite the slim/phat only having SATA2

When factoring shipping, this is how much it normally is when discounted. It's still pretty good for its price though.
