Free Large Hungry Jack's Meal + Delivery (Free with DashPass on Orders over $20) + Service Fee @ DoorDash

3740
GOLARGE30

Must be a glitch, I applied 30% off hungry jacks large meal but it discounted the entire meal.

With Dash pass, it waived the delivery fee (for orders over $20) so I just paid the service fee.

Example:
Grilled Master large meal: $23.55
Discount: -$23.55
Delivery (dash pass): free
Service fee: $2.36
= Total: $2.36

Not sure how long until the glitch is fixed!
Worked on iOS and Android app

Edit: make sure to apply the promo at promotions section

              • @kingdingaling: You have not been on OzBargain long enough to understand this isn't the first loophole.

Many have come, and many will go. This was just pathetic service.

                • @iNeed2Pee: You've been on OzBargain long enough to know that there's no such thing as a "free lunch"… literally.

                  • @kingdingaling: I still payed? I actually still ended up paying $6.50 (Couldn't edit my previous comment)

                    This wasn't free.

                    • @iNeed2Pee: You paid $6.50 for a meal marinated in soft drink? I paid $2.22 for $48 credit. I hope being on OzBargain doesn't erode my brain as much as yours has been.

                      • @kingdingaling: "I paid $2.22 for $48 credit"

Exploited a loophole there. Welcome to OzBargain.

@iNeed2Pee: I genuinely didn't exploit a loophole. I didn't go into the transaction knowing I'd get that. I just acted politely (and pretended to be confused as to why there was an issue with my order), so they rewarded me for it.

                          • +4

@kingdingaling: You know you got more than you deserved, for all you know the person that processed that is now going to have to pay the difference, but its ok because you where polite huh?

                            • -3

@PAEz: Eh? I didn't ask for it, but a company that as @iNeed2Pee mentioned, made $888 million last year gave me $48 credit, of which they'll probably get close to half of it back one way or the other. Problem?

                              • +1

@kingdingaling: You spoke to an individual who processed your complaint, they could be held responsible.

                                • -1

@PAEz: Nah, they probably get an allowance of how much credit they can provide in different scenarios. Plus I didn't ask for the credit, they willingly offered it. Problem?

Do you think the people that work at a company pay for credit out of their own pocket? Honestly, are you both representative of the intelligence of this forum? I hope not.

I still don't understand what you're going on about. They said the wait for my order was longer than it should've been and gave me credit in compensation. And they were right. I don't think being polite is some "sneaky trick" and if it is you should try it one day, see if it works for you.

@kingdingaling: You got double what you should of got and you know it.
Ill always be amazed at how well the ego can justify a lack of morals.

                                    • -1

@PAEz: You think DoorDash care about $24 credit? C'mon mate, use your brain for two minutes.

                                    • @PAEz: You're also a hypocrit. You're criticising me from benefiting from something when you were here to exploit a loophole yourself. Are you going to refund the 70% of the meal that was deducted accidentally? I'll wait.

                                      • @kingdingaling: Obsessive much? One hour later and you come back to keep going on more. Where you thinking of my that whole hour, how sweet.

You talk about me ripping them off 70% when you ripped them off 170%. The difference is I know Im ripping them off and am glad because I hate them, I dont try to justify my actions. Your actions could of affected an individual and you dont care, just justify. And you talk about people not having honour?
You started this thread by complaining about people complaining but then you go and complain to their chat instead of just making another order.
And you called me a hypocrite? Look up what the word means and how to spell it if your going to use it.

And on top of all this you insulted all the people of QLD.

Your an idiot and I cant be bothered with you any more.
                                        Have a nice day.

                                        • @PAEz: You point out spelling errors and then say "your an idiot"… is it not "you're"? Also, your argument against your hypocrisy is that you only ripped DoorDash 70%? What a moronic reply. And you try to say you're not justifying your actions.

                        • @iNeed2Pee: Hope you complained to Door Dash and got a full refund. Their service is garbage and will never change if people dont complain.

                          • +1

@PAEz: I should, and just quote the above that a member managed to get 2x the amount of the refund, so I want the same.

  • Mine came on time. 2 orders but one had two orders in it. So I got 3 sets instead of 2. They must have combined one of my orders but still processed the other one.

cancelled. went to chat. They said sorry and said id be refunded. No credits at all. Very average service

Scheduled orders came winning lunch and dinner sorted for the week 😆

    • Have a scheduled order that is meant to come in 40 mins. Lets see!

Local HJ was conveniently ‘closed’ yesterday, so put in an order for lunch delivery today, not expecting it to be honored. Imagine my shock when the doorbell rang, right on 12pm, to find 2 hot meals and the drinks were even in a separate bag! Great score- thanks OP!
ETA- I’ve just noticed that my burger box has the word ‘COW’ written on it. Not sure if that’s a comment on the contents or me, but for a few dollars I can’t really bring myself to care.

      🐮

  • Scheduled lunch coming right now haha

  • Scheduled order being prepared 🫣

  • My scheduled lunch was delivered about an hour ago…

$1.97 lunch, could do that every day until I die (of heart disease in 3 months!!!) HAHA

First time I have used Door Dash and my scheduled lunch arrived warm and on time.
TBH I really expected it to be cancelled but for just over $2 service fee this was a great deal.
The burger was a monster and I am now trying not to fall asleep behind my desk.
Good luck to those who scheduled multiple days.

  • One scheduled meal received, one to go!

  • Scheduled order arrived! Thx op and kudos to DD and HJ for honouring as they sure as hell didn't have to.

Exact same thoughts here. Just the thought of eating another Double Cowboy Angus Burger makes me want to throw up

      • The saddest thing is nearly 8000kj, looked and tastes like solid fat, and people actually pay $31 full price via Doordash! Wow.
