  • Fml. Paid $113 from target. Considering the studs for the tracks and motor this is a ripper price.

    • Dammit. Paid $132.90 on eBay for this in April.

    • Absolutely - this is a great price if you plan to use it as a donor set.

  • JULLEGO doesn't work for me

    Try PLUSLEGO for $44 off

    • Thanks this worked

  • Thanks OP

If logged in with ebay plus, the voucher is available as a tick box when checking out.

  • Unfortunately, this code no longer works. Please continue with your order.

    • PLUSLEGO works, but not sure buy it or not.

Buy now, think later is the ozbargain way.

  • Can only order 1 set.

  • Thanks, bought.

Bit off topic, anyone knows when eBay plus issues the monthly $5 voucher? Didn't use it last month and can't see the one for this month.

    • +3

There has been an issue with these. Mine was there last month, but disappeared now!

      • +1

Mine was here like 2 days ago, just disappeared now

  • Is it a good set?

  • Is this a good idea for a 4 year old?

    • Yes, and a great idea if there is an enthusiastic parent available!

    • i would also like to know, i think the phone controls are hard to use

      • the cool thing is if your kid has issues with the two lever system, just program your own controls in the lego powered up app and convert it to a steering wheel or a graphical cursor control, or attach bluetooth controller to it with standard dpad controls

        • any tutorial for this, sounds cool

@zerog101: I am still learning the ropes myself but mostly just using google for what the symbols mean. I have seen some youtube videos as well but I don't really spend the time watching them.

The hub that comes with this unit is very powerful and has 4 ports so you can control/input from 4 devices. The two motors only use two ports so you could even automate this thing and put a sensor at the front of it to avoid obstacles etc

The app you need to program your own custom stuff is "PoweredUp" by lego, unfortunately Lego is one of those companies with 50 different apps in the app store

its not, but it does depend on a kid.

have 6 years old who is generally ok with 9+ legos but when it comes to Technic lineup its just to complicated for him to enjoy. He quickly loses interest and moves on to something else.

      • But it depends on the child. My eldest played technic at 4+ on his own and managed to complete them needing minimal help.

  • Good price to for 2 large motors and a hub.

    • Even despite the stupid cover to the hub having more than one screw (ie. Just run the hub lidless = less safe = dumb move, lego)

  • Does this code work on any other sets?

Don't you need 18 years old and over to be on ozbargain?

  • I wonder if I could mod this into the Bat Tank?
    https://www.prime1studio.com/dcjl-bat-tank-zack-snyders-just…

    • Just looking at the shapes that would be an absolute piece of cake to do a moc for.

But buying the parts is not cheap. Repetitive parts maybe you'll get lucky and only incur post from a couple of stores.

    code no longer works …..

    Oh damn code expired

  • +1

    damm!

  • Too soon bruh! Code gone…

  • Thanks OP. Managed to get one just before it ended. eBay kept saying seller has changed conditions. I ignored it and kept trying to checkout. It registered the order after a few tries 😁.
