      No

….and these taste HORRIBLE if they're past their use by date.

      • They're not meant to be eaten.

        • +2

But what if you've eaten a plate or bowl?

      • cant it be returned if past due date on delivery?

    • Just checked my existing bag, it didn't have a expire date only a date said "N xxxxx"

      • mine says (just delivered) 14 04 21 on the back, dont know if its expiry or production date

        • 14 04 21 on the back, dont know if its expiry or production date

          yes not sure.

  • I have converted to finish 0% and haven't looked back. Same great results with much less chemicals and smells.

    • I've found the 0% doesn't always get everything clean. The Aldi tablets have been more reliable for me.

      • which aldi tablet? and do u use rinse aid with aldi tablets? i found they leave water marks on the glasses

        • Yeah I use rinse aid. And I dunno, the cheap tablets you buy from Aldi. I don't pay attention to the brand, but there is no Powerball in them and they are individually wrapped.

          • +1

@AustriaBargain: I find that with powerball and 0% there is no need for rinse aid which is fantastic.

    • Same great results with much less chemicals

What does this even mean ?

Every single component of Finish 0% is a chemical.
      100% of it !

18c tab if anyone is wondering

Powder all the way, dont know how or why tabs have caught on. Actually I do know, company's make more money off them, and pay manufacturers to recommend them.

      Less messy than powder

      • Dude it's literally soap it's not like it's gonna make a mess of your dishes

    • +4

+1 for powder. I buy it from Aldi, costs me like 10 cents per wash. No mess, no hassle and it cleans great even with half the recommended amount.

      • how do you use the powder ?

        • +7

          Nasally

        • +1

Scoop a bit into the compartment where you usually put the tablet.

      • My dishwasher started throwing errors after a while with the aldi powder. Had to swap to another brand and it's been fine since.

      • I use aldi - both the tab and powder but the powder is terrible compares to the tab. Maybe just me…

    • what brank do you use for dishwasher powder?

      • I used to used the stuff that was $2 a (cardboard) box at Aldi/coles/woolies. One by one they all stopped selling it, I think the manufacturer either bit the dust or cancelled the line for ones in plastic containers (unfortunately the opposite direction of where we should be going from a sustainability perspective). I am now forced to go to the reject shop as they are the only ones I know sell boxed powder.

Maybe if we get enough if us together we can convince them to get it again?

  • thank you. grabbed some

I used to use tabs for YEARS, but after watching this video https://youtu.be/_rBO8neWw04 and the follow up https://youtu.be/Ll6-eGDpimU I stopped. I get a far better wash now from filling the tray with about half of powder, and a little sprinkled on the door for the prewash cycle (because that's still a thing and theres no soap in the machine with the tabs so you're just washing dirty water around) and some rinse aid. Way cheaper, adjustable and everything is cleaner and drier too. Win, win and win. Seriously

    • Thanks.

New to dish washers and almost bought this deal. Instead, I'll just stick to simple powder or liquid in the dispenser.

    • Gee ive never seen the second video before… Time for another deep dive into dishwashing.

    • What brands of powder do people recommend? Ideally I'd like something unscented as I really dislike the "lemon" fragrance.

  • Best video I ever watched in regards to adulting!

But yes. Makes a huge difference with my washes. Silly to think the engineers that made the machines knew what they were doing all along.
Need to show these videos in school

  • this or the aldi Logix?

  • Are these not the same as the Powerball Classic? Cheap as Chips sell the 110 tab Megapack for $16.99 - 15.5c per tab.

If you're a member you can also take 20% off that price, making it $13.59 or just under 12.5c per tab.

    • How much is shipping?

      • Doesn’t want to let me add for delivery so might be in store only.

  • Seems like OOS

  • Got mine today, kinda strong smell from the bags. only one date on it and it says 14 04 21, is that the expiry or production date?
