on the contrary, it was originally touted to be a rich man's klook, but no longer. the poor branding didn't help;"pelago" is hardly a classy name.
brainchild of singapore airlines, motivated by pandemic border closures, as an attempt to grab revenue from would-be passengers to spend on domestic (singapore) activity.
now that borders have opened nearly everywhere, the platform has lost its appeal and quickly became just another klook.
