      You would have this on under a jacket as well. Can't vouch for either products but I see merit in this as well as the jacket.

      It just conforms to a set standard.

  Did someone design this product to make less sales?

  Charger with pins for a US socket??? Round connection instead of USB micro/C ???
  Custom battery instead of allowing the user to bring their own powerbank??
