For the annual membership, i think you are saving like 50% compared to Ausi price.

  1. Buy Amazon India gift cards from eneba
  2. Sign up for an Amazon India account froma new email. It will ask for a phone number too, but it does NOT have to be an Indian number
  3. Add the gift cards to Amazon India account via this page
  4. Turn on India VPN ( I used ExpressVPN)
  5. Access Prime Video signup page - sign in if needed
  6. Select the plan and go to checkout - gift card balance will be automatically available
  7. It will still ask for a billing address, anything you find on the internet will work (don't add random values, it validates state name + zip code)
  8. Confirm and pay (with gift card balance)
  9. Turn off VPN and access Prime. Prime content availability changes based on your IP.

Side note #1 : Maybe what I get is the full prime membership, because I see other prime benefits like Amazon Music and Free Delivery

    If you in to AU shopping on Prime, then not much worth it as you wont be able ro do that, ends up paying more

    Nice idea and good work on the post but I think most people get prime for the free delivery and the video's are a bonus.
    If you only want the videos, and always order above the free delivery threshold with Amazon and don't get value out of Prime deals then this is a good deal.

    Scratching my head.

    It's only $59 AUD per year for Amazon Prime , and you also get Prime Gaming, Prime Video and Amazon Music included (in addition to free shipping on eligible shipments).

      Agreed, even without any of the extras I find prime worth it for the shipping alone.
      The video is a nice bonus with a couple of decent exclusives, but the music is more limited than algernate streaming services

      I agree. I use Amazon lots. I get good shopping deals from them, prime video is ok. Free kindle books, and now Amazon music trial.

      This all seems a bit hard.

    I find when choosing a video that some films aren’t free to watch. You either have to rent or pay an amount to watch.
    I thought that having a prime membership qualified you to watch all of them for free?
    I guess I was wrong or is there a way around this?

    Not sure how this is deal? Cant use Indian prime in Aus..the whole point of prime is to get free shipping.. rest all is a bonus to lock you into prime.
