@jm010: VPN works easily for NBL, most countries without a broadcast deal have all NBL games live on youtube. I'm not sure about legit sources for other sports
@jm010: Depends on whether they've blocked the IP range of the VPN you're using. Test it first before traveling.
Smart DNS such as Getflix works for this and doesn't seem to get blocked in my experience.
@jm010: kayo detected my vpn, and i left it too late to plan around their bs.
I just went out to a pub instead. For the broncos I used some sketchy stream.
Either way I cancelled Kayo promptly.
just setup a VPN to your house, worked a treat while I was in NZ, wireguard to my Unifi network.
I got an email earlier this week thanking me for joining up to sport at $20/mth. I haven’t touched or looked at Stan for about 3 months. I was pissed that they added sport hoping I wouldn’t noticed. Cancel the entire subscription as a consequence. Nothing really on it anyway. And the sport is absolutely pathetic.

F1 free practice, and qualifying are all free to watch on Kayo in the freebies section (available live and on replay) The main race is also free to watch in Kayo minis section (a 30 min highlight reel) and is available a few hours after the main race has been run and won. Sure it's not the full race, but it's better than nothing and its free

They must bleed subscribers over summer. If they kept it at a reasonable price I’m sure I’d find something to watch but at the price they’re asking they end up getting less from me each year.

Ok i definitely exaggerated but i don’t watch any of those. It does have plenty of live channels from around the world though including Australia. They’ll definitely show F1 somewhere unsure about Australian local sport but Stan and Optus are there (not kayo though i just checked)
You can always shop around and check the channels list before purchasing
I've used one called B1G IPTV that had the Fox Sports channels on it. Paid something like $12 AUD for 3 months.

Theres an app called RBTV77 and another one called Sportzxtv. Both on Android/Google TV..every sport event possible is covered, and in very decent quality. (Don't expect 4k HDR but hey it's free and 720/1080p is often achievable)

That seems expensive for IPTV. Also rd is better for movies and tv. They have the lowest quality garbage on those IPTV services
I tried a few cheaper ones in the past but this one just works! Flicking between 4k channels like im watching FTA.
It also has the latest movies in 4k as well as soccer games (for popular teams) uploaded within hours.Well 4k is just the resolution. It doesn't determine bitrate or codec or how well it was compressed. I stream full bluray rips with rd. I don't think it would have that. If it does that's great but rd is only 30 for half a year.
@HaydosK: I also have RD but won’t renew. I only prefer IPTV for the live tv (mainly soccer) and the whole point is cutting down subscription costs.
@HaydosK: But you're comparing apples and oranges. RD is a no-go if you want to watch live TV. If you want both live and on-demand you have to go IPTV even if you know the on-demand stuff isn't on-par with RD.
Most people who care about quality will just end up with both, I guess.
@zfa: No I'm not saying it can do the same thing IPTV can do or play back any type of live stream. It's not made for that. I specifically stated for movies and tv. I'm just saying the movies included with those services look worse than even Netflix and you can easily stream bluray rips with rd which are incredibly high quality.
@HaydosK: You can't generalize to that extent. Plenty of Premium (paid) IPTV have their own on demand catalogue of HD and 4K like many plex shares. And plenty are not so good. Point is its highly variable. Stremio + RD and a quality IPTV service is just about the best combo. That said for anyone that is a die hard sports nut Kayo still have some thing's in 4K that are not reliably found in 4K on IPTV, so nabbing kayo on the cheap can still have its uses.

there was a good sub in reddit, iptvgroupbuy discussing buying, but it got shutdown, weirdly the scammy subs were allowed to stay which resell at premium rates and anyone questioning gets instant bans

Not sure what is on it over summer except maybe the cricket? But most cricket can be watched free to air anyway. Save yourself another $20 a month and unsubscribe.
It's a terrible interface, plus often the streams are full of ads, all for a high high price.
It asks you what sports you are interested in the proceeds to keep pushing and promoting sports you have no interest on the front page making it difficult to sift through to find what you actually wanted to watch.
Yep that's annoying.
What's also annoying
1) dcma the apks so you can't download the app from elsewhere.
2) changing the video rendering so kodi no longer works.
3) removing 4k support for devices that worked and restricting it to only whitelisted approved devices.
4) moving kayo to hubbl and the cancel page not working properly, resulting in a support request to cancel. Having my expired card on file but still being able to charge my account.
5) the code system for promos meaning applying one code overwrites the other code. You have to time codes so you don't lose sub time.
6) not having rights to 4k NRL if the game is on FTA.
7) the live channel and or event being buggy/buffering, and having to switch to sometimes get a good experience.
4k used to be restricted to event as well and loading the channel only did 1080p.

Cheaper easy methods, search kayo on ozbargain, can verify $10 method, which I have active now, maybe only for iOS cos of email hiding stuff, maybe through this link, still worked after expired for me, good luck

I think Kayo has lost so much value and the competition for subscription services has seem them lose so much content and have to over pay for so much content
I mean they scored a decent win with "Saturday AFL" only being on Kayo till round 15 but lets be frank most people are unsubing sooner as the AFL/NRL season closes regardless
They never should of let the A league go the competition gave people a reason to stay subscribed during the summer
It is a hard market now as subscription wars have heated up and 'live sport' is one of the few reasons for people to not sub on/off consently
but ill also play devils advocate it cost a 'shit load' to do almost anything these days i mean going to the cinema will set you back $60 for a movie popcorn and drink - i mean Disney Plus has been pumping out dog shit content for 3 years and people still pay for that and it can be easily pirated - in regards to live sport even if you got a 'good source' it can be difficult to get a 'good quality reliable stream' from a 3rd party provider
Discrectionary spending is getting more and more expensive in almost every aspect i mean the Iphone is essentially the 'same' phone for 4 years and they are charging over 2k for most models, then you got things like game pass hitting $36 a month!

I went to watch a replay of an nbl game yesterday on my tv app, and when I selected game up came the banner with the final score written in big font at the top, and yes I had no spoilers selected.😡
