I don't think your T&C's take precedence over PayPal. Surely they would be entitled to a full refund.

    • -4

      Thank you,
These are exactly PayPal's T&C about refunds/cancellations and we can not absorb that cost am afraid. So this is upfront information for our customers.
Direct bank transfer no issues a full refund.
      Thanks

    • Sellers can charge cancellation fees except where the ACL provisions apply (e.g. faulty goods).

PayPal T&Cs do not require refunds for change of mind. PayPal T&Cs also allow PayPal to retain all payment fees even if the transaction has been refunded.

  • Can you add the link for the Telstra SIM.

I'm looking at porting from Boost to Telstra. Will i qualify for the bonus?

  • Can the $300 recharge be used on an existing sim?

    • Please read the item description if possible?
************THIS IS NOT A RECHARGE VOUCHER**********
      Thanks

      • +3

Yeah the wording if the product page is confusing. "Starter Kit comes with… $300 recharge"

        • Yes. That is clearly an initial charge or credit, not a recharge. Is English really that hard ?

        • +1

          Hi,
We have changed that to 'Preloaded with $300 credit'.
          Hope this will help.
          Thanks

    • yes I did it a few months ago. You have to talk to live chat and they port your number from the existing boost to the new boost sim.

    • The best hack is to use $2 kogan sim to port out and port back in as New Boost customer. It works every time. Process takes few minutes.

      • Do I get the $2.90 Kogan sim or the $2 one?

        • +1

          2.90

          • @sedi: Does 7 eleven sell the $2.90 sims?

            • +1

@heal: You can buy blank kogan sim and buy online voucher fron kogan separately and use that to activate that sim. It will cost u extra..

      • how long do you need to be away from boost? is there a minimum number of days?

        • There is no time limit
I switch to kogan, as soon as my kogan activates, I switch back to Boost. Fortunately, there is no minimum time requirement. Which makes this so easy.
Last year, I remember doing the whole process in 1 sitting. Kogan sim activates instantly.

Waiting for Boost to launch eSIM.

  • No international roaming if you are planning to have holiday in overseas.

    • I've just been roaming with Telstra prepaid and wifi calling works perfectly. It was a nice surprise. Add a cheap esim and the experience was great.

      • I can attest to that. My family member is overseas on Telstra prepaid $300 yearly recharge and they are able to receive SMS and incoming calls.

      • So WiFi calling is a misnomer, and works over 2nd SIM mobile data? Nice to know!

        • +1

It only works when you are connected to wifi, so WhatsApp for all other times. But I find that's plenty to get and send a few sms or make a few calls.

          • @GenerallyClumsy: That's not quite right. I've been overseas with an iPhone with a local eSIM from overseas and my Telstra service was working over cellular over the eSIM just fine for sending and receiving SMS messages, not sure about calls because I never needed to try. It's not just limited to Wifi for texts.

      • +2

Wonder why I got a - for this comment. Maybe I need to specify that wifi calling doesn't work over the esim. Wifi calling needs wifi but all other times there is WhatsApp.

        • +2

Don't let it bother you, people are dumb.

… oh f*** it was me. I must have misclicked, sorry. But hey, all the more reason not to let a single downvote bother you in future! :-)

        • Wonder why I got a - for this

Looks like you took their name :-p

    • Hi,
It's recommended to check with Telstra before leaving if your country of destination is covered with their roaming service.
      Thanks

    • Guys get your mind clear if you are connected to wifi and have wifi calling enabled you can call back home australia as you would in australia, that goes for texts as well.

  • 5G on either of these?

    • Currently, there is a trial going on both of these for 5G coverage until September. Not sure what is coming up after that and no information available from Boost and Telstra yet too.
      Thanks

  • I'm currently with Boost… any issues changing from Boost to Telstra and keeping the same number?

  • Overpriced. $18 for 23gb per month?

    • +3

Is it, is there a better Telstra deal?

    • There's a $200 kit from Boost available on eBay for about $170 if you use less data.

  • Can the $300 credit be used for anything like International sms, international minutes or more data? Also, 100 international sms sounds kind of small.

  • I'm in the city a lot and yesterday was at highpoint at maribynong.

I moved from Optus, which was great, to Boost/Telstra. And I can say not that boost is SHIT.

No / low reception at some part in highpoint for Boost and my partner on Optus gets speeds up to 30mbps while i cant even load the seed test page.

Many parts in the city, my partner on optus constantly gets faster speeds than me too.

    • Hi,
it's better to pass on this direct to Boost customer service and get a refund.
They will surely refund you the sim cost if they found out about the problem you just mentioned here.
      Thanks

  • Can we get price beat at Office Works? 😬

  • +1

    Hi,
Deals having discount coupons are not eligible for Office works price beat I recon but you can try if that.
    Thanks

    • Thanks ordered one at oz tech biz

  • I understood that Telstra and Boost were identical, unlike Aldi, Belong and others. Can anyone explain if the Telstra option is worth it, given that more data comes with the Boost option here?

    • If you are in city and inner metro areas and don't need the regional coverage, forget telstra/boost and any other associated telstra networks.

Go for optus, must better in inner city.

  • @oztechtraders, Telstra $300 is shown as out of stock, when will they become available again?

    • +1

      Sorry for that.
      They are available now.
      Thank you

  • Hi, i still havent received my sim card, can you please reply to my message?

    • Hi,
Have replied to your email already. The tracking shows the sim has been delivered.
Please check your email reply for more details and the options we can possibly help you with.
      Thanks

  • Hey, If im currently a boost customer, would I need to purchase op out of boost with a different service and join back using this sim

  • Hi Any chance you have a deal on a telstra $300 recharge voucher?

  • sorry, we do not sell Telstra vouchers. You can post out with any other network sim and then can port back in.
    Thanks

  • Probably not seller fault, but a registered parcel from seller to within NSW less than 8km, is still with auspost for the last 2 weeks, citing delay.

    • I've been waiting ony Kogan sim for 11 days. I haven't done my order for the Boost sim yet so i better hurry because my current yearly Boost prepaid runs out in a couple of weeks.

  • Is tracking provided?

    • +1

      Yes, it is.
If you have purchased the item please send us an email and we will resend you the tracking detials.Normally when the order is processed customer receives an email with tracking details.
      Thanks
