    400nits screen
    1 ram slot upgradeable (1x 8GB soldered + 1x 8GB removable)
$999 also on amazon and computer alliance with free shipping although you got no free monitor

Is it really free though? :)

      • My bad on my wording, should have remove the free word

        • Not your fault. I'm just making a point, you end up essentially paying $100 more for this 'deal', and get a free monitor. Deals like this often trick people into paying more than they need to, in order to have a spare monitor sitting around at home.

At least in my opinion, it would make more sense to purchase the laptop by itself for $999, as I have a dual-screen monitor setup already.

the laptop $950 with ebay plus + $150 screen on amazon

      • Ordered the laptop by itself for my Mum literally 90 mins ago for the $949. No need for the monitor though so not feeling bad.

  • Any comparison between this and the X1 carbon?

    • Depend on your budget.

Better off getting laptop by itself cheaper and spending a little extra to get a nicer display with USB-C connectivity.

  • apparently this laptop has a two hour battery life, so make of that what you will

    • With 11th Gen intel you'd be lucky to get that too, unfortunately. On something entry level, anyway. My work one is a Dell but with very similar specs and does 1.5hrs on a good day :(

36Wh - waste of good Lithium!

No wonder SE don't put that in the spec's.
