Hi everyone. A hot 2-hour Amazon Prime Day deal for our members with 14% cashback on every Amazon category, capped in total at $20 per member and valid for 2 hours only. ANZ Max members that pay with a linked ANZ card will get 16% cashback (capped at $20). Don't forget to join Amazon Prime in order to access all Prime Day deals - it's totally free for the first month. Thanks for your support as always. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Please read the following terms & tips carefully - it will save a lot of questions:

  1. Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn cashback. Items must only be added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
  2. During the 2 hour promotional period, 14% cashback for Amazon Australia (16% for ANZ Max members) is capped at $20 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 4:00pm to 6:00pm Tuesday 12/07/22 (AEST).
  3. Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback.
  4. Purchases paid with any Amazon promotional credit as partial or full payment are ineligible for cashback.
  5. Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order only is eligible), Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals. Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field, and on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.
  6. Pre-orders are eligible for cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
  7. Purchases from Amazon US/UK are eligible for cashback provided the transaction is made via Amazon AU.
  8. You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase. Click and subsequent purchase must be completed inside the 2-hour window. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).
  9. The offer is valid during the promotional period unless withdrawn by Amazon earlier. Amazon reserves the right to cancel, amend or withdraw the offer at any time at its discretion. The offer cannot be used on pre-existing orders with Amazon.
  10. For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc). Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

    Lol. Wasn't tracked as usual.

  • +1

Splatoon 3 releases in 59 days, just under that 60 day pre-order threshold, hopefully that counts towards the cashback

  • I have been getting "We're having trouble connecting. Please try again later". Anyone having the same problem, trying to login to cashrewards?

    • Please try clearing your cache and do a hard refresh on your browser. Also, please try via the CR mobile app.

      • Clearing cache and even tried incognito mode, none works.
CR mobile app log me out. And now saying my email & password is invalid.

        • Try 4G on app (turn off wifi).

          • +1

@tightarse: Thanks - 4G works, but that's bizarre. It was working this morning on the same laptop and the same wifi.
Oh well, lesson learnt - don't leave it until the last minute.
Only have enough time to put through a couple of items.

  • Just bought a few items. Thanks CR and TA

  • -1

@tightarse , how long does it take to track cashback ? Purchased at 4:10

    • +6

Point no. 8 in the OP. And TA also clarified multiple times in the comments of this post. Come on people, TA has enough on his plate during these crazy times.

    • -1

      Instantly if it work

  • +1

And it is over, not much on sale this year compared to last year.

    • +1

I picked up a 5 pack of Step One briefs. Other than that, didn't really see much that enticed me.
Was hoping for some Ironwolf NAS drives to go on prime sale for a good price.

  • +1

Everything I wanted to buy has become more expensive. There is no point in cashback, it doesn't cover the price increase. But with Prime it is cheaper for real.

    • Forreal

  • +2

    anddd it's over

now lets see if SB has a deal for tomorrow

  • +3

If I clicked through before 6,but complete the purchase after 6 does it still track?

    • +3

I completed my order eactly on 6pm, I am wondering the same thing. I received my order confirmation email from amazon exactly at 6pm.

    • Nope, purchases after 6pm will not count.

  • +2

    FOUND THIS UNDER TERMS
    Cashback is ineligible for:
    • Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

LOOKS LIKE SOME OF US WILL BE GETTING ZERO!

    • +1

isn't that under the current T&C for "Up to 7% cashback"

      • Nope, I have a screenshot from the 14% deal

        • +3

It's also stated in the OP terms (dot point 5) and discussed here. All it means is not to move items from your wish list to your cart. Thanks.

          • @tightarse: I bought 3 things from my wishlist and 1 thing that wasn't on it. Will I get paid for the 1 item, or will the other 3 make the entire purchase ineligible?

Going to cancel what isn't eligible. Haven't got any pending confirmation from Cashrewards yet but its only been 40 mins.

            • @flooressence: Please see here. Wait until tomorrow - all may track :)

              • @tightarse: Ok I'll wait til tomorrow to cancel. I added the 3 items from my list directly from my list though so are you sure I shouldn't just cancel now in case it becomes too late by tomorrow?

                • +1

@flooressence: I'm not going to tell you to go either way. Please remember that these terms were added at Amazon's request so I personally have no idea if it will work and this could be a great test. I'd hate to see you cancel then have the purchase track successfully. But then again, I'd equally hate to have you not receive tracking. So will leave it totally up to you. Cheers.

      • It is literally in the deal description lol

5…Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field, and on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

  • +1

Just placed an order with the 14% cashback but wasn't really thinking and ordered two sizes of a few things with the intent to return one size and keep the one that fits best… now realized that actioning a return will likely void the cashback.

Does anyone know if I edit the order now and remove one of the sizes if it will also void cashback?

  • +1

Looks like $5 promotional credit from the last deal applies automatically and that makes it ineligible for cashback.

    • you had to untick the promotional credit

      • +1

Which I didn't as the checkout page is not the best example of Amazon's UI…

    • you can choose not to apply the promotional credit on the payment page.

  • +2

$142 was the golden mark and feel upset i didn't hit it… Ordered $90 tho…

    • +1

20 bucks here lol lateish purchase tho

  • Do you not get cashback if you forgot chrome was blocking 3rd party cookies? disabled literally everything else…

  • +3

waited all day .. got distracted .. missed it .. epic fail

    • +1

I read it as from 6 not 4-6 lol i even had all the tabs open hahah well on with the sale >_<

    • +1

      ugh me too

  • -3

how long should this stuff take to track? bit worried i confused the heck out of it and somehow won't get the $20

    • +1

The information you seek is clearly listed in the OP.
This same question has also been asked and answered multiple times through this thread.
If you spend more than 5 minutes and still can't locate it try using your browser's search function for "track" on this page.

  • +2

Why is it when its a normal cashback, I get an email within like 5 minutes saying it got tracked. But when its a special event, I dont and it may come through much later. Always leaves me waiting anxiously …. :)

    • Common logic would suggest that processes tend to be faster when 5-10 people use it as oppose to literal tens of thousands of people using it.

      • Yes i figured, Although saying that The other cashbacks i am referring to would be also the pizza / special $ bonus cashbacks so probably not just 5-10 people. As well as with cashbacks being over a set period of time, I doubt there are thousands using it the same second. And with servers and emails etc, Are we really imagining servers working through for hours on end still computing who purchased what several hours ago? Isnt it a pretty simple formula, was it purchased with the set parameters intact.

        • +2

If you're referring to tracking speed for Amazon purchases, please see here.

          • +1

@tightarse: ahh good to know. I thought i had had some amazon purchases emailled pretty quickly to me but that may have just been luck .

            • +1

@lonewolf: It all depends when you purchase. If you purchase 20 minutes prior to the daily batch report, then that would explain it :)

  • +2

2 hours is too short :(

  • +5

    Busy at work. Missed it.

  • +2

Will Cashrewards and shopback do this again tomorrow? Seeing as Prime day is actually 2 days?

    • Definitely. Today was the deal for suckers.

      • If only you told me earlier, I just bought a bunch of stuff I wasn't sure was still going to be available. Although tbh a couple of things were down to the last 2 items

        • +1

tbh a couple of things were down to the last 2 items

good idea to buy those (if you need it)

  • My CR still not showing any tracking??? Even thought I am pretty sure I clicked amazon via CR to get in and made a purchase at 17:50???
    should I cancel my order?

    • +6

Yes, if you cannot read the deal description, you should cancel the order.

EDIT: forgot to overuse on punctuation, here you go!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLUS ULTRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • +1

If item was moved from "Saved for later" to Cart, will it earn CR or not? If it does not, this whole CR thing getting too complicated to bother.

    • +2

      Point 5 in description

Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field, and on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

      • The trouble is the $5 promo code from the last deal does not have to be entered manually but is there by default. Amid the rush and trying to comply with the multitude of conditions its very easy to not notice and realise that you have to opt out.
Will not be impressed if my purchases dont track. There should be an option "do you want to apply existing promotional credits?"

        • While not everyone will have the time, I like to read all the comments for deals like these (500+ upvotes) so I know what I should/shouldn't do. The promotion was discussed several times in previous pages, and I made this comment before the deal started.

    • No

  • has anyone gotten tracked email yurt?

    • +5

      point 8 in description

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).

  • +1

    any deal tomorrow?

  • So it can take like a day for the data to be tracked right?

    • +2

See 2 comments above plus countless other comments about the same thing in this post.

      • I knew it wasn't instant - figured next day might be ok, I'll give it a couple of days, no rush.

  • I have received one tracking out of the five orders I have made.

    • +2

Please be patient. Tracking will take hours to complete, especially as Amazon reports items individually.

      • Ok that kinda nullifies my message below ……. hopefully! Thanks

      • thanks for the response man!
        Always so good,
I had one item tracked too

    ?

Was the cashback only applicable against items on sale? (I just grabbed stuff we need for the house, since we're sick with covid and can't leave the place)

Never had tracking issues before, maybe I'll get more emails or something?

Possibly will be ok after all:

    • Read TA's comment above yours.

      Amazon reports items individually.

  • Just got my tracking email, I guess the Buds2 weren't eligible

  • Got only 1 tracking email from many

    • check previous comments

  • Anyone know why my purchase of a Kindle would be excluded from the cashback promo?

    • +1

Why would you say it's excluded? It's not even excluded outside the promo (falls under Amazon Devices).

      • Because I bought a charger and a kindle at 4 yesterday and only the charger registered for cashback in cashrewards , not the kindle (like it somhow falls outside eligibility)

        • Please read my comment below :)

    • I bought a Kindle and it tracked at 3pm the next day.

  • +11

Guys, if you purchased multiple items within an order, or even multiple orders, please be patient. The reports are only just starting to flow through now from Amazon and they report transactions at item level, not order level. So you may get one tracking email now, and another in 1 hour, 2 hours etc. Thank you.

    • ahhh , ok

  • Mine has tracked…pending.

  • +1

Still waiting on tracking for my kindle and Philips airfryer. Separate orders and via the app with an empty cart.
