      • Generally, $200 to $300 is good enough as the 8 cards limit and $1500 amount limit apply. A single $500 may lose the flexibility.

      • I didn’t know you could combine
So you do that on the swapyourgiftcard site?

        • +2

There is an option (for add more cards) on the top right after you enter the 1st card.

          • @Neoika: Ah I see, I probably missed it

            Good to know, thanks!

      • I was able to combine the SWAP gift cards to higher denomination Ebay gift cards, the experience is so so much better than trying to swap the TCN gift card to JBhifi gift cards.
On the TCN website you have to enter gift card details, phone number twice, name and email everytime you redeem a card, then go to email to download the gift card. I redeemed 22 TCN cards today, took a lot of time.

  • Also, Can I still earn 20x bonus point If I pay for the gift card using WWrewards points?

    • +3

I don't think they'd allow u to pay gift card with points?

      • Why not? It’s money off shop.

    • You can’t trade points for giftcards. It doesn’t give you the option on the payment screen. They stopped this a couple of years ago.

      • Thanks you saved me a trip! I thought once the points were converted to $ off shop, it was just automatically deducted? I don’t often shop at WW.

        • Nope, it’s not automatically deducted. I think it used to be automatically deducted years ago? (I don’t remember.)

Nowadays, you (or staff) need to select the Rewards Dollars option on the payment screen and select how many Everyday Rewards Dollars you want to redeem (and if you are at a self-service checkout, it is the very first option on the left on the payment screen). You can only redeem Everyday Rewards Dollars in lots of $10.

If you are purchasing a non-eligible item in a transaction (e.g. gift cards, mobile phone recharges), you will not see an option to redeem Everyday Rewards Dollars, even if you have Everyday Rewards Dollars available for redemption and you are also buying eligible items (e.g. groceries) in the transaction. For example, if you want to purchase a gift card and groceries and redeem Everyday Rewards Dollars to help pay for the groceries, you’ll need to purchase the gift card and groceries in separate transactions.

If you want to see a full list of excluded items, have a look at the following from section 32 of the Everyday Rewards terms and conditions:

Everyday Rewards dollars cannot be enjoyed on purchases made in-store or online at a Redemption Business1 for all smoking products, gift cards (including Woolworths WISH Gift Cards, e-gift cards and iTunes), mobile recharge, Woolworths Mobile, travel cards, tickets, cash outs, delivery charges, donations, lottery products, Carpet Care, Pre-Order Kiosks, BIG W Photos, BIG W eBay, lay-by-fees and purchases using an AmpolCard, a Country Age Pension Fuel Card or on a charge account.

          1. A Redemption Business is:
            - Woolworths (instore and online, including Everyday Market)
            - Woolworths Metro (instore and online, excluding Ampol Woolworths Metro and Ampol Woolworths MetroGo)
            - BIG W (instore and online)
            - BWS (instore and online)
            - EG Australia (excluding five EG locations on mainland Australia and all EG locations in Tasmania).

@WookieMonster: And how long since you tried this yourself? Because tonight I literally bought 2 x swap $100 dollar cards and ~$50 worth of groceries in one transaction and I had the option to redeem rewards dollars at the self serve checkout and so I redeemed all my rewards dollars which was $30, and just after paying it said I had $20 off my next shop (from the swap cards). And I have confirmed all this in the app and the receipt afterwards as well.

Normally I would use a 4% off WW gift card to pay for the $20 of groceries but I was too lazy to buy another one (as I had ran out) and do 2 transactions just to save 4% on $20.

            • @Tim349850: That's good to know. I last time I tried was nearly two months ago. I had to get the staff member to void the gift card from the transaction before I could see an option for Everyday Rewards Dollars.

@Tim349850: I think, that because u bought $50 groceries as well. the option of paying with reward dollars was not there when I bought swap gift card by itself. Now I'm not sure if we add $1 groceries, will we be able to use reward too? But this promo ended already, can only try next time.

              • @hanofee: That might be the case, I haven't tried. I think though normally you have to spend at least $10 on eligible items to see the Rewards dollars option. So spending $1 on eligible items might not cut it.

  • great

  • The instore Airbnb cards were the variable load cards same as the catalogue but the in store promo listed and displayed Airbnb 100 dollar cards. ended up buying a few and having it track.

  • does the 10% bonus still valid today ? 19July2022

    • Yes

      • +1

confirming i just got 20x points on a gift card purchase

  • Bought 10 cards yesterday and another 5 this morning and got all the points. Not sure if you would get them if you bought 15 in a single transaction or bought them as 10+5 on the same day.

    • Where do you see the limit of purchased cards in the same day ?

      • T&Cs in the deal description say maximum 10 cards per transaction and one transaction per rewards account each day. I didn't try more than 10 but you can see the points accumulating as you scan each gift card.

      • It's in the description of the post. With most of the cards being variable load (up to 500), I don't think it's worth the risk to try more than 10 cards per day

    • max 10 card per transaction, so you have to buy 10+5. but you should get both points

      • It's 10 per transaction but also one transaction per day. I guess realistically if you needed to buy >10 today you could just create a second ER account. Especially if you're redeeming for $10 WW Dollars

        • Thank you :)

  • Can anybody confirm that the Night Out card can be used on Uber Eats?

    • +1

Not sure if it can directly, but I used it to buy Uber Eats giftcards from Shopback. You save another 2%, but I mainly did it because you can then load it into your Uber account and throw away the visa card and forget about it, plus it can then be used for both Uber and Uber Eats.

  • I have done 3 woolworths in Melbourne CBD. None of them have any Swap Celebration card :(

    • +1

      Docklands had them

      • thank you for the info.
Next time I will go there.

    • It helps to not wait to the last day, ideally you would try the first day of the sale.

      • I know :(
I saw a great deal on ebay yesterday, so I woke up…
Let's hope to get some new discount soon :0
