Good deal on this variety pack of Starbucks Nespresso pods that has 6 packs with 10 capsules in each. Currently individual packs with 10 capsules selling for $5.20 each making this a cheaper deal. Despite Starbucks often being associated with bad coffee I find that the Colombia pods are really good.

  • Problem is you're stuck with the crappy types you don't want.

I have a few tricks for bad coffee. Fold it with mixed thickened cream and freeze for a few hours - coffee ice cream. Alternatively mix with sweetened condensed milk for some Vietnamese style coffee.

There's none I really hate in Starbucks though.

      • Interesting, will have to try with some dud pods - I don't drink coffee but another in my household is fairly particular and only likes intensity >10 and certain brands.

  • I've tried a lot of third party Nespresso pods now and I can safely say these are the worst.

    • Which are the best?

      • The l'ors are more palatable. The primo ones on eBay are better. Rosso coffee does some good ones but a bit more expensive (though not as pricey as what Nespresso is charging these days).

My wife uses metal reusable capsules and buys her own beans to grind. It's the best way to do it if you can be bothered doing it that way. Cheaper AND nicer.

completely disagree, yes these are a required taste that take a couple of cups to get used to, but once you get used to them, they are really good, also, these are not 3rd party, these are made by Nespresso, all 3rd party pods from supermarkets taste like watery dish water instant coffee , the only real options are the Starbucks ones or the normal Nespresso range

    • i couldn't disagree more. Starbucks by Nespresso arent the worst and L'Or are definitely not better.

last statement i can agree with though i never have the will-power to go through all that for a pod machine lol

      • Coffee is like wine and often a personal taste thing. I just found the Starbucks ones tasted like dirt.

yeah true. L'Or got me through COVID years lol i was hooked on the double shot gimmick but they got pricey lol

Starbucks are awful, pods or in store.

Cover up the Starbucks logo and you wouldn't even know. Since this is made by Nespresso.

      • Anyone who has had both would know the difference, but I am guessing because you read it somewhere it must be true right?

Anyhow I don't drink Nespresso either so get that up ya.

        • Starbucks By Nespresso

Yep I read the title, listing and packaging. It's made by Nespresso grumpy.

      • Wait what, Nespresso makes these? I thought Starbucks made them by themselves?
