The XR is 4 years old, and 64GB is limiting, but otherwise it's a modern iphone with faceID.
might also suit parents/grandparents needing an update.

My wife has one. I love the tap to wake, my SE2020 doesn’t do that :(

My wife has one. I love the tap to wake

I do that without an iPhone. I just use my err stylus.

I'd pay $347.7 for a tap to mute function.

I have a 256Gb Xr for last 4 years, I bought it from the 1st available day in store. still running perfectly after almost 4 years. I like the LCD screen. Battery is alright for office/business tasks, I don't play games on phone. I couldn't find any reason to upgrade it at the moment. but maybe next year when Apple changes the charging port to USB C.

    Customer reviews don't seem pleasant.

They guarantee only an 80% battery health which basically means you need a new battery. Apple charge about $120 or so for a new one, I would trust the rest.

Any phone older than a year can expect a 10-20% battery degradation, this in no way means a new battery is needed. My original iphone SE was registering 83% health in 2018 and it still works fine now.

      • Mine has 82% and is a piece of crap now

      • Mine is still 100% after 4 years, I am not a big phone user though and I often only charge to 60-70%.

Batteries often start simply shutting down mid app at 90%-95% health.

  • Man if a used xr is the only iPhone deal prime day has I’ll be sad

    • iPhone 13 for 999 on Telstra day was a banger. Also sub 600 iPhone 11 should be coming when stores finally liquidate remaining stock.

Both solid pickups at those prices

      • Yeah Telstra day was good, but they excluded the mini which is what I’m waiting for

  • Mine just arrived, looks and feels brand new with not a scratch on it. Battery capacity is 100%! Thanks OP, very happy with this.
