2021 Bethany First village GSM - Barossa Valley
Youthfully expressed and fragrant, the bouquet shows dark plum, spiced cherry, smoked game and roasted nut aromas on the nose, followed by a flavoursome palate offering succulent fruit flavours and plump mouthfeel. Upfront and fabulously drinkable.
The palate has a strong Grenache dominance with spicy and earthy red fruits and aromatic interest holding sway, the supple darker fruits of the Shiraz add real weight and texture to the mid palate and the finish while the Mataro brings a super lifted aromatic intensity of blue fruits and incense. Tannins are supple and generously structured and give length, ageability and freshness to the finish. 14.5% ALC
