I bought one of these previously and the internal battery failed after 12 months of very little use. If your budget allows, it may be worth buying the updated ChargeUp Edge+

    • Clicked the link and got an offer to subscribe for 20% off first order. Maybe potentially applicable to both orders?

    • I ended up returning this chargeUp edge+ caz of massive size

These days I only buy the Zmi (Xiaomi) banks as I've had failures from all other brand I've had (incl. Cygnett)

  • Are these things allowed on planes?

Yes off memory 30,000 is the carry on limit ?

      • I thought the limit was in watt hours.

        • So from what I have read on online Max is 100WAH so if at 3.7V is equivalent to 27000mAh approx.

I have taken a 26800mAh as a carryon many times without problems and most recently in April this year.

          • @SpeedRunnerLink: You can bring larger ones up to 160Wh but only for certain airlines and they need to be specially checked.

            • @ATangk: I Saw that too but to avoid all the hassle and risk 100WaH is a safer bet.

Besides do you need one that big anyways?

              • @SpeedRunnerLink: Those sized batteries are more for portable transportation, like e scooters, etc. I’ve brought back them from overseas, but had to remove the battery and take it on as carry on, checked by staff and security

Theres a couple of 10,000mah batteries out there that do 45w PD but nobody seems to bring them to Australia. It's a shame, I want a lightweight battery that will charge my laptop.
