    How smart?

    • +4

      smarter than your question

  • Why are so many Lenovo smart products on special lately?

    • +2

Getting out of the smart home business from what I read in other posts.

    • Mr Ass from Lenovo thought he'd have some fun.

  • They appear to be Tuya based, can anyone confirm

    • +1

yes Tuya based. I have 2.

  • Will this switch a 2000 watt heater my other "10amp" smart switches have issues with this 9amp load.

    • +1

I run a commercial espresso machine off my Arlec socket with no issues, 2700w. I suspect your socket is faulty if it can't handle less than 9A.

  • I bought one before and couldn't add it to Google home, anyone have any luck?

    • works for me. Add it to one of the tuya based apps first then link it with google home.

  • So what does a smart plug do? What is it used for?

    • +2

you can schedule on/off to save energy. Some devices have power metering so you can see how much energy is consumed.

  • This or the EKO?

  • you could potentially price beat at officeworks or match at jb
