  • 75MHz, 9ms.

  • 1080p on a 27" is gross, on 31.5" it would be nothing short of heinous.

    • +6

I prefer it to scaling to 150 on 1440p

Twice now I bought newer higher resolution monitors thinking my old 1080p was too old and twice I had to stop using them because scaling 1440p by 1.5 or 4k by 2 looked absolutely terrible

If you can see tiny text then that is all well and good, one day you will get old….

      • +1

I got negged last time when I mentioned windows scaling sucks.

        I am using a 32" 1440p with 125% scaling. I could have just get a FHD instead

        • Scaling in general sucks, but windows has improved over time. You also don't need to use scaling, you can just set a bigger system font size, and a lot of applications these days allow setting text size comfortably regardless (like browsers).

This aside, i'd take terrible 2014 era windows scaling over a ridiculous 60 ppi monitor - 1080p @ 32" is just sad.

    • For those CGA nostalgics

  • Think I got my 27 inch qhd for 249, would rather sacrifice the size for the will of my eyes
