Same as this expired deal but now below the $1700 mark, I think for the first time ever. It seems to be $300-$500 cheaper than any of the other usual suspects (Computer Alliance $1999, Scorptec $2199 etc.).

The LG 38GN950, which is very similar to this one, is even more expensive ($2299 upwards) but there are minimal differences between the specs, realistically. GN950 is more gamer-looking, the WN95C is more business-like. The GN950 does seem to have some slight improvements to things like colour gamut, if that matters to you.

same. $1k for extra 4 inch isn't really worth..

Got this exact monitor, I love it's colour, brightness, and no issues with gaming + office-use. It has split screen which you can use to display 2 separate inputs at once.

However, the UI is so freaking slow I've considered RMA. Takes around 5-10 seconds everytime I want to switch between inputs. (My old Acer Predator was super quick in this regard, also had better speakers).
Also, Thunderbolt on this monitor is a bit of a hit and miss. We have 2 thunderbolt laptops here and sometimes they would never detect no matter what I try, but the next day would mysteriously work.

  • Would you not have got the c2 the other week at this price?

I did exactly that and got the 42” C2 over this.

      • Come back in 12 months and let me know if there’s burn in.

      • Depends… Do you have the desktop space for the extra size? Do you prefer the ultrawide or standard 16:9 proportions? Do you like the curve? How far away from the screen will you be placed?

    • This Dell only does 60hz

    • I am using Dell 38" for work purpose for last 1 year, and I am enjoying it everyday. I do have 2 machines to work at a time. One is connected via usb c charging + display and the other machine connected with hdmi and no issues so far.

People talk about gaming, higher refresh rate, brightness etc., But I am happy with this monitor as I don't use it for gaming.

      • Yes I think refresh rate doesn't matter so much for coding etc
