    Hi OP, what's the minimum start amperage for solar charging? Some other chargers need at least 3A to turn on, apart from Victron which will start charging at <0.1A.

      Solar charging will be triggered if the PV input voltage is higher than 15V for 10 seconds

      These are a bit weird… Yes they are 40a but if you have a solar panel connected as well as the car. It defaults to the car and is limited to 20a. If the car is off it uses the solar and is limited to 20a. So yes it's 40a but only 20 from each source. It's a bit crappy….. Better to buy a discrete 40a dcdc and a 40a solar charger for about the same money and you can charge at 80a… From both at the same time …

    I'm looking for a 12v system MPPT with a proper display and Solar voltage of 40v or more, dual battery - AGM starter and likely li-ion RV.

    I'm currently using 37v panels (in parallel) but may want to upgrade to higher voltage at a later date.

    What voltage ranges are supported?

    I can build either a 3S or 4S pack of any capacity. Are the controllers programmable to handle this?

      These are 25v max input.

      They are programmable via the additional Bluetooth dongle, but I found it to be pretty limited. Eg I was trying to program it to only charge my lithium to 70% by setting the bulk charge rate lower, but no option to turn off the float charge like their lithium profile does.
