The best true wireless earbuds money can buy. Probably even better than Pixel Buds Pro (by a lot). AirPods are revered by audiophiles the world over, and the next generation promises to be even better — although I can’t see how that could be possible

    • +5

They are definitely better than the pixel buds pro. Well that is really only a true statement until they actually come out next week.

    • +17

You have mastered the art of sarcasm. I am in awe.

    • +3

They are very good for what they are - decent earphones with NC in the Apple ecosystem.

Certainly not for audiophiles, but the above was good sarcasm, as Fybre said :)

    • 🤣

  • +2

Really impressed with my pair of these.

    • +1

What are you comparing these to?

      • +4

The birth of their firstborn?… twins

      • I bought mine upgrading from my QC35 headphones. While the QC35's were always good. The NC in these is so much better. Glad I made the upgrade. I travel frequently so the size difference also means less space taken up in my carry on now that I can carry them in my pocket.

        • QC35 are 6 years old and they were average/good even then. I remember debating buying them in 2018 and i chose Sony XM3s at ~$300
You spent the same amount on earphones 6 years later, of course they gonna be better.

It really matters to what we are comparing

      • -1

I had never owned NC headphones.

        • +4

          Thanks for bringing it up

It's been 1000 days since these came out, the updated version is probable due soon.

    • It’s time. September at earliest though I suspect.

    • +4

Every time when we have a discount: "but the new model comes out soon"
When the new model comes out: "but the previous model has big discount"

There's no winning with you guys lol
the new model will be more expensive, this is a good buy (if you're after them)

Just like in every apple deal there is always an apple hater

  • Also these can be tracked via Apple’s Find My App.

    • next to useless. Mine went missing for a month. Found them down the of my bed.
I now have a case with an AirTag which works well

Find My App only works if someone opens them and connects to them I think

    • +1

Useless feature. Loss mine and never found it

  • Hope this deal’s still open if the refurbished ones I bought in the mail turn out to be fake lol

  • Note that these can be purchased for $295 from MyDeal. I received mine in good order from there.

    • +2

Just fyi the 295 ones are very clearly marked as direct import in the product description

  • I lost one of these and was thinking of getting a jabra 85t instead, any thoughts?

    • +6

Goto apple and buy the piece that you lose. Probably cheapest option.

  • I own the galaxy buds pro for my galaxy phone. Are these any improvement, or am i better off sticking to the buds? So far I cant say ive utilised the features of the galaxy buds, i like the noise cancellation obviously, but otherwise I dont use the touch features. They were more annoying than useful.

    • Not great paring these with android. Better go with Sony earbuds or Sennheiser.

    • Pixel Buds Pro. If you can’t have the best, this might be the best of the rest

    • +2

If you download the wearables app you can disable touch controls.

  • I have the bose QC earbuds and they are really good, a really good competitor to these if you use android.

  • +1

I like these but sound wise they aren't night and day better than my Soundpeats. Buy them for the extra bells and whistles like Transparency mode, one ear out to pause etc.

  • They're still $328 at OW so I'd try price beat first thing tomorrow morning to buy @ $294

    • Cash reward offering 10% on amazon however, not so sure if Apple products are covered

  • -2

Do these come in any colour other than white?

  • I just lost my left one. Is there anyway i can get the left one only for cheap? 🥲

    • Wait at a park and swoop someone's left pod. Be quick to get away though.

Seriously can one trace a single missing ipod?

      • yeah you can i reckon by using find my tho. mine one fall down under the river :v

  • +1

Anyone have any good deals on the Gen 3 Regular AirPods (non-pros)?

  • still not as cheap as I got it at 60 bucks (plus points) from telstra but they are good earphones though :D

    • $60? You got ripped bro, mine were free (cause someone else bought them)

  • I wasn't a fan of the earbuds with stems, but after having the galaxy buds and some cheap Chinese ones I much prefer the stems. I take my buds out a lot to talk to people so having the stem is way easier than the slippery galaxy buds.

    • -2

      Enough complaining.
