How’s this compare to corsair RM and RMX series?

    • +5

Seasonic is the OEM for these units, so they are very good .

They seem to have the same bulk single sleeve CPU/PCIe/ATX power cables as the RMx. Not sure if the RM still comes with individually sleeved cables, but those used different interior components. For $109, its a good buy if it suits your needs. 10 years warranty.

MSI MPG A1000G 1000W also very underrated, grabbed one for $189 shipped via metrocomau eBay. Supports RTX 30/20 series cards and AMD GPUs

yep, the whole mpg aXXXg range is top notch for the price.

@lachlantula: I was considering one of these. The one thing that put me off was it doesn't stop the fan at low power draw conditions (or that's the conclusion I reached). Not sure how much difference it will make overall to noise, but I'm trying to keep it as quiet as I can.

  • I want one

    Thanks Ozbargain!

Had someone randomly reach out to me in relation to issues with his computer and diagnosed to PSU Issues (Avoid Aerocool PSU's…).

He wanted to go with a quality 650w unit and this is literally the first thing that came up.

  • i just want the a850gf to go on sale again those were a steal
