  Just fyi it's 18% cashback for glasses for new customers only. It's 14% for contacts, and only if you're using an ANZ card & a new customer

  8% contacts - so if I purchase day $210 of contacts it will be $160 (of which I will receive a further $12.8 through CR? I’m assuming the cash back isn’t on the pre-discounted price)

    Yes that sounds right. I just took advantage of both offers so I brought $204 worth of contacts, only paid $154 and i'll get $12.32 cashback which the final price paid will be $141.68.

      How strict are Specsavers with identity checking and asking for prescription? It used to be lax. I'm wondering if it's worth it to open up a new specsaver account.

        I'm not sure as I have never tried setting up a new account. Could be worth experimenting with sending it with a different name to a parcel locker or a friends place.

          @melbourne guy: I opened a new account, using the same name and address (for heath fund claim purposes). I think you can even use the same credit card, just need a different email address.

          No issues at all, cashback tracked almost immediately with the "new customer" rate.
