      We've got a few sets purchased with gift cards 18 months ago. They're nice, but not made to last. We've replaced both this week & went elsewhere. Recommend steering clear.

      We buy a lot of our sheets etc from Adairs and have found they go well. I haven't ever used the flannelette so cannot comment.

        lyocell can have massively varying quality, depends on how well it's made. You can make stuff that'll last a long time with a lot of stretch, but you can also get stuff that'll easily warp and wear horribly. I've had both, it's bizarre to have the same fabric and look/feel the same but wear so horribly. At least with cotton you can pick a thin tshirt from a thicker one.

        If it's 80% off because they're clearing stock for the new batch and taking a loss on it, maybe it's good quality. I suspect it was just a product with a massive markup though.

        1. It's not as durable as pure cotton, I have found sheets and clothes with lyocell/rayon don't survive as many machine washes.
        2. My personal preference is doesn't feel as good on the skin as other fabrics.

    Adairs is good for quilt covers and towels. Sheets, they're overpriced for what they are.

    Recommendations on actual good sheets? Prefer a slightly slippery/cool feel over a crisp/cottony one but no idea what brand/material to look for.

    All sheets seem to have RRPs in the hundreds of dollars with a permenant 40-80% price cut so who knows what's good 🤷‍♀️

    Anyone else finally get this delivered only to get the completely wrong item?

    I ordered the quilt cover set in King, got a queen sheet set instead… I have asked their support team to fix the problem, but I assume it will now be out of stock and I won't get what I ordered
