Same $99 price as previous posts. Which is the all time low according to 3x Camels.
Free shipping for all users including non prime subscribers.

Since I don't own these, I would like to use this post to ask other users here for any recent feedback regarding the Anker Life Q30's.
One possible issue seems to be a cracking headband.
Also Noise Cancelling DOES NOT work with 3.5mm according to previous comments.

Maybe I should wait until the Q35 drop in price to $99.

I thought Amazon deals reposted within 4 weeks were supposed to have original one marked as unexpired rather than re-posting?

Also yeah I’d wait for q35. They dipped to 149 a few weeks back. So prob will be quite a while till 99.

    • I think the previous deal was only accessible by prime members.

I think Q35 will make it to $99 eventually, since Q30 was over $200 at one point and dropped to around $120 early on.
I would consider the Q35 at $120, but $99 would be an instant buy.

My heart leapt when I first read that… Bose QC35s for $149 would be mind-bogglingly good.

Would be living the dream mate

      • If you really want to fulfill that fantasy, I found Bose QC45's on Aliexpress for $70 to $80. Although local price will likely be half that around $30.

  • Any comment for the mic's quality?

I had these but sold it this last weekend after owning it 1.5 yrs.

Great audio quality and active noise cancellation / transparency mode, works very strong and blocks most sounds out. Out of box EQ is crap but you can customise it in the app and it does a pretty good job. Bass can be a bit muddy but overall the trebles and highs and all that are very well nuanced and balanced.

These also have multipoint for connecting to more than one device at once, simply pause then play on the second device. For $100 I paid for them off AliExpress, they are VERY good value for the money.

Only reason I sold was because I am an in-ear preferential person. One and only reason why.

How much were you able to sell it for? Wouldn't expect a pair of $100 cans to sell for too much.

$70. Bought if off AliExpress so you gotta remember that Amazon didn't sell it anywhere near the $100 mark til this year from memory.

    • 1.5 years and in good condition sounds promising.
I am quite careful with my stuff so I like to think I would have a similar experience. It does make the Q30's tempting, but something tells me to wait for the price to drop further.

One thing which I was not liking in the reviews was that both the Q30 and Q35 sound "bass heavy". The EQ is in the App so does it save on the headphones? In other words can you connect any device to them after adjusting EQ and will it keep the same EQed sound?

      • You'll be alright if you look after your stuff cos I do reasonably. I don't think the Q30s will drop further cos look at the price the q35s dropped on aliexpress and other places .

The EQ saves on the app and always maintains it. If you have the app installed or not. Cos I uninstalled the app after I had it setup with EQ and all. Only installed the app every few months to check if there was any firmware updates.

        • "look at the price the q35s dropped on aliexpress and other places ."

I can currently find the Q35 on Aliexpress for around $150, similar to the lowest drop on Amazon AU according to 3x camels.
The way I see it Q35 model is an "updated" Q30 not the next model up, so they should drop to similar prices I think it is just a matter of time.

"The EQ saves on the app and always maintains it."

Great news. Bass heavy sound was my only gripe with both the Q30 and Q35 and having EQ adjusted on the headphone itself resolves that problem.

          • @harshbdmmaster718: Yeah q35 is hardly an upgrade so not even worth the price.difference.

Decent pair of headphones you'll like it

@adrianhughes1998: I just finished watching a few videos on Q30 vs Q35 and you are right. Well I was kind of right myself in thinking the Q35 was just a Q30 with minor updates, but I now realize that I didn't need any of those improvements on the Q35 and should have bought the Q30 for $99.

I will share the differences for anyone else reading. Earpads are slightly deeper on the Q35, and they have stitching around the edge. Q35 supports LDAC but you need a device that supports that to use it. ANC strength is the same on both models, no improvement on Q35.
Headband and construction is the same between Q30 and Q35, I was hoping for a different more durable headband on the Q35 but that is not the case.

I don't have an LDAC device, and I will be using it with my budget iPad. Q30 actually has less latency with iOS than Q35, with Q30 = 90ms and Q35 = 118ms. A small difference but I think it matters. So the only real difference for me is the earpads, I don't have big ears so I don't think I will notice the difference.

I will snag the Q30 on it's next price drop. It has dropped a few times to $99 according to the posts here on ozbargain.

Edit: One more important point. With the Q35 you can use the ANC wired, which is a must have for plane travel to watch the flight movies. Q30 ANC does not work when wired apparently. I will not be using these on a plane so this point does not matter to me either.

              • @harshbdmmaster718: Good summation of the differences there. Yeah I have LDAC and LHDC on my in ear Edifier Neobuds Pro so q35 not needed for me. It's just a more refined version of the Q30s hence the model name too. Will have to wait and see what the q40s have in store.

                • @adrianhughes1998: "Will have to wait and see what the q40s have in store."
Good point there. I am in no real "rush" to get them so I might wait around.

Q35 is showing as first listed on Amazon AU January 2022, and Q30 showing as first listed January 2021. So Q40 announced end of this year and released January 2023 maybe.

                  • @harshbdmmaster718: True on timelines , who knows , it might get me back into the over ear world. One thing though is that even though the ANC is pretty good it ain't up to the levels my in ear Edifier ones can do, but that could be down to the nature of in-ears getting all in the ear canal anyway and blocking the sounds passively at the very least.

Overall the Q series is no Sony XM4s or Bose QCs but they are very very good for the price

                    • @adrianhughes1998: According to a few reviews, the Q30 have the best ANC in their price range for over ear headphones. That's why I am keen on them.
I don't want something "too good" reason being I am sensitive to cabin pressure, so I don't want that feeling of being underwater with the ANC being too strong.
Apparently this pressure is caused by low frequencies being cancelled out very well. And AirPods Max are apparently best in that department so they have A LOT of ANC cabin pressure.

                      • @harshbdmmaster718: Last time i flew was in Jan 2020 and used my in-ear Edifier for that with ANC, and they worked a treat, used Earplanes for ascent and descent as I have quite sensitive ear pressures. Of course as you say the Airpods Max seem to be regarded as the gold standard for ANC so you probably don't want a white-wash of the frequencies when you are up there in the sky.

        • I saw it in a review that eq is actually saved on the headphones, so once configured its same on any other device.

  • When I clicked on the deal, Amazon price is $149.99. How are they available for $99?

    • Well they were. I guess the deal was only valid yesterday and you missed it

    • I only came across the product yesterday. It was $99 at the time, but not sure how long it had been that price for. It might have been $99 for only hours or maybe days before.

I was too slow and missed out on this deal as well. I just logged in and found out.

I will be keeping my eye on the updated Q35 model to drop in price. I am thinking it will drop to around $99 to $120.

      • 150 is possible for q35, but 99 may be a bit of stretch. I will buy 1 too if it gets to that price but it's highly unlikely.

        • I mentioned it in another comment already, but I really do think the Q35 is just an updated Q30 with some minor improvements.
Sure it's all totally up to Anker Life what they intend to price it at, but I do think similar price is possible. It's already dipped to $150 before according to 3x camels.

And the case with these portable devices with small batteries, due to the small capacity of the battery inside their shelf life is not very long. I reckon 1 year max before the battery inside sits at 0% charge and the lower nominal voltage begins to kill the battery. Anker will want to clear them out at what they deem a reasonable price before they reach this point otherwise they will end up with a bunch of faulty units leading to a damaged reputation and unhappy customers.
