    Sure. But what ticks me off about the bits is when the fckrs end up all through your draw. This stops that. The base also attaches to magnetic surfaces

    Depends on the size and location.

    Larger bits in warmer climate are probably ok, as long as the audience is mature and welcoming

    All my exposed bits (legit/intended expression) eventual rust. Whereas the one in a case don't, if that helps…

    These are not magnetic holders. If you just want a cheap plastic holder, you can find them anywhere.
