eufy 2C Security Camera System $619.65 Delivered/ C&C/ in-Store @ Supercheap Auto

180

Not the cheapest ever but still a good price. Please go easy on my first post. I have installed many of these set for friends and family. Battery won't last long if it is in a high traffic area but add a solar panel and it'll be all sweet.

SCA also having a 15% off on other eufy products.

2 yrs ago SCU had a similar deal for $480

  • Just a thought, what happens when you need 8 of the cameras? Do you just buy 2 sets?

  • Refurbished set for $439 from Anker. https://myanker.com.au/refurbished-eufy-cam-2c-wire-free-ful…

I wonder if it's worth the saving over getting brand new?

  • How do these compare to the Cam2 pro wireless cameras?

    • +1

Theses are 1080p and the 2C pro are 2K. Other than that I think to they are almost identical.

  • Where's the best place to compare different brands and systems of cameras? I know there's some that need subscriptions, quality differences, batteries versus PoE etc and dunno where I should start looking…

    • google + youtube

    • Write a list of what feature are most important to you, then follow the top 3 features. There are so many options these days and you can easily go down a rabbit hole and spend days looking at all the available products.

Eufy for me is : 1. Easy install/ setup, 2. No ongoing fees, 3. It had 2 way communication (I want to be able to prevent the break-in instead of looking back at it).

Other than eufy I have installed few other products like:
Reolink 4k system - very good POE system.
If you want to get really into it, look into Frigate NVR and Coral USB accelerator. That will keep you going for a while. 👍

  • OP When you say won't last long in high traffic area - how long is not long?

    • My eufy doorbell claims up to 6 months but on the highest surveillance settings lasts about 2 weeks. I've hard-wired it now.

    • Last about 2 months for me in high traffic area. With the solar panel I haven't had to pull it down for the last 2 years.
