So fees every single day now i see.

Also wtf just raise the delivery price since that's effectively what this secondary delivery fee does anyway.

Reminds me of the online booking fee at cinemas, it would be nice to know who and what we are paying for. There's a legend that long, long ago there was transparency in pricing, these days I can't even figure out what a can of drink is worth without factoring a gazillion fake price points.

  • +7

so $2 for a can of drink or GB. looks like dominos are walking back the value range. $5 pizzas only on cheese and pepporoni now

  • is there mini pizza a slice cause there extra large is tiny

    • +1

Tiny for a horse, a decent snack for a human

  • Thanks op. Looks like lunch tomorrow supported and I have immodium.

      No shit

Domino's is like hungry jacks, the worst choice available (but at least priced at what they are worth)
Domino's main competition is from the frozen pizza isle, whereas hungry jacks main competition is your memory of how terrible and overpriced they have become

    • The only time I go to hungry jacks these days it's because I got a freebie from shake n win. Took away survey, $1 chips, $2 bbq cheeseburger - those were the only other things I went for. Nowadays it's just a shitty Maccas.

Is there anyone who hasn't promised 'never again' to almost every single franchise at some point. We'd be complete slaves to them if they actually delivered on good service and food.

    • +3

Different preferences! I much prefer HJ over Maccas, and much prefer Dominos over Pizza Hut.

  • +2

This is a direct answer to pizza hut's $3 small pizza and their $5 deal. Only difference is pizza hut (in my experience) don't taste like cardboard.

    • +3

Other way around for me, but I think my pizza hut local franchise is worse than average.

      • Oh neither of them are great and I definitely recommend smaller pizza chains which have much better pizza and value. It's just that pizza hut's offering is a little less lacking if I had to pick from those two.

You’re not supposed to eat the box, but the extra fibre might be good for you

      • +2

It's all part of the plant based diet /s

      • +10

I paid for the box, I'm gonna eat the box

      • +2

Sounds like a hack for our upcoming recession. Although if you eat the box you can't sleep under it.

    • PH taste like saladas to me. Bad dough.

  • +1

Domino’s pizzas are no where near as good as they were pre-pandemic… they are tasteless now

  • What matters is the size…. what is a mini? Someone post a pic!

  • Hey OP can you please explain why different dominos store's have different pizza thickness (ordering same pizza, always Deep pan) but some stores will give pizza's that are way thicker than others ??

My local one always kinda gives me way thinner than another store I ordered from recently (same order)

    • +4

It could be a range of things including an incorrect recipe, it’s most likely they’re either not properly weighing the dough or that they are using the deep pans too early (they need to be used generally next day so that they are ‘puffy’ and don’t end up cooking like classics).

    • i always order deep pan and im sure i get classic crust every time. deep pan should be more than 1cm thick. at least pizza hut can do a proper pan pizza. i dont think dominos prove their dough or something

  • I needed to use code 227652

  • +1

Come back here only to comment after Pizza hut decides to F#c* up all of its customers on the free pizza vouchers and false advertisement etc.

At least Domino's doesn't do that

  • So whats this Delivery Service Fee of 6% BeeEss???

So i cannot we pay this Delivery Service Fee of 6% on top of just the pickup fees???

    What a rort!!!
