  • ok, so i'm currently with lebara and this is for new plans. Would it work if I port out using any cheap sim card, wait for a day and the port into lebara again with this new simcard?

    • +1

Yes. I am with Lebara and always port out and back in for these deals :)

You can port out and back in on the same day I've found (probably best to wait a few hours, which is what I normally do).

      • What do you port out to?

        • No need to port out anymore, see post below from rjamin23
Great deals for existing customers now, so it's pointless.

  • These are great for burners when advertising things on Scumtree, or to use between porting your number out and back.

  • I have been with them for long time. No need to port out/in. check their recharge page from time to time, they have specials. Now they have 180days 140GB $105, 360 260GB $199. You can recharge max 2 years, save the hassle

    • Great point, I just looked at my Lebara app and the 6 and 12 month recharges for existing customers are very good value :)

  • +2

It's also $6 at Coles as well for the 30day sim

  • Volte available?

    • Hi FutureTech! At this moment in time, we do not have VoLTE enabled on our SIMs. We are looking to release VoLTE later this year. However we did just launch 5G on some of our plans, so make sure to check out the 5G page on our website for more information!
      Thanks!

  • I'm with them now and using mobile data has been seriously slow. I like the cheapness but these speeds have been barely usable.

    • Hi whapkaplit. We're sorry to hear about your data speeds.
Please check the settings in your phone to ensure your SIM Data is not on a "Low Data Mode" - this could be the reason why the speeds are slow.
However, I suggest checking out the coverage tracker on the Lebara website to see what speeds are available in your area e.g. 3G, 4G or 5G.
Please feel free to call us on 1300 126 122 if you have any questions or concerns.
      Thanks!

      • Thankfully for that! You'll be pleased to know I got my providers mixed up. It's actually Lyca giving poor speeds. I'll give you guys a go.

        • Great news! Please contact our Care team if you have any questions about the service!

  • I get 150 - 300 Mbps on 4G data with them - plenty of speed for me.

  • Too bad they are charging $5 for esim for existing customers

    • Is that to move from a physical SIM to an eSIM?

      • yes. I am an existing customer for 3 years and they want me to pay $5 to move to esim..

        • Oh, that's odd.
Thanks for the heads up, I've never used eSIM even though my Pixel has it.

a shame this deal isn't 12 months instead of 6 months, the value would have been awesome

    • Thanks for the feedback hailstorm. We'll definitely take this into consideration when looking at new Marketing Campaigns :)

  • Lebara to lebara call, when you not in any plan , is it free or have time limit ?
