    So these are machine made and the material is plastic, just mass produced in Turkey.
    These really are a dime a dozen in any rug shop / company.

      Polypropylene carpets are not synonymous with high quality (carpets). In fact polypropylene is seen as a cheaper looking version of nylon carpets.

      In the world of carpets, wool, silk and cotton are seen as high quality, not man-made fibres.
