Not the greatest looking colour to be sure, but can't argue with the price. They had some hot pink sets yesterday but none that I can see now so stock must be low.

Comes with bonus travel accessories - nothing fancy but a nice touch nonetheless

  • Note that this is the second tier in the Antler range, with a 7 years as opposed to 10 years warranty. Also the word 'Antler' does not appear on the luggage (at least in the Revelation set I have) if that matters to you.

But still it is a lot of luggage for the money.

    • the bigger issue with the warranty would be possibly having to pay lot of shipping to get it back to UK.
can you comment on the quality?

      • I agree but I was using the length of warranty as a proxy for quality.

My Revelation 3-set is four years old. The zip-tags were triangular and must have been caught on baggage sorting systems, as a few were ripped off in the first flight or two -damaging the zipper head. The model on offer does not appear to have these same tags. Also mine lacked a side handle which was a pain to handle but again the present model has a side handle so not an issue.
The webbing on internal pockets is easily ripped by angular objects stored in the pockets.
        The expandable sections are great.
The corners have suffered some abrasion, but as I have been on 10-15 flights and they are still functional and not overly worn to the point of holes appearing.

        For $110 I don't think I would care if they didn't last more than 5 o/s trips.

  • What's the weight on these things?
Looking for something that's light for carry on luggage… My current one is already taking up almost half of the allowed weight at 3kg…

    • doesn't say, i would presume 3-4kg but it's not very important to me personally. airlines usually give you +10% or 2-3kg leeway on your weight to account for case weight.

      • Check in yeah, carry on is a different story. Depends on who you get really, sometimes I've managed to get on with 15kg+ as carry on (when I'm only allowed 10kg total), others I've been pinged at 8kg.

        2-3kg=10% means checkin.
Luggage weight is the most important factor i think.
Norm economy allowance is 23kg, silver+ FF is 32kg.
If the difference is 2-3kg, thats 10% of what you can bring back/away.
Nowadays with airline margin underpressure and downsizing, there is no leeway,
unless you meet a really carefree airline employee.

crikey they are 4.8kg, 4.1kg and 3kg respectively.
and they look like this (grey with blue vains):

  • My reading of the delivery conditions is that "Free" only applies to items <2kg.

    • Hmm, also says over 2kg is 93 euros! I must have read it wrong I think.

Just went through the order process and it worked out at ₤0.99 to Oz by ordinary mail..can't recall exactly how much but was around ₤64.00 for tracked postage…

    • i paid with 0.99 pound delivery, as long as you don't need it next week you'll be alright

  • For those who still wonder.. This ebayer sells similar item I think. And he said the suitcases weight 3-5kgs.
