      These are the original Light Novels.
      Honestly seems like a fair price for a masterpiece of a series, I'm just not used to spend so much on entertainment at once :/

    I just started reading the novels recently. So far I'm up to the nadeko arc in bakemonogatari vol2 and while I think shaft did an incredible job at adapting this mess, the novels are still a great read. The amount of sheer dialogue and jokes that were left out so far has made reading it worth it. Some probably flew over my head but I understood enough to make me want to continue reading. I'm still not sure how I genuinely feel about the monogatari series but I am glad I watched it and am now reading it.
