Using a Chromecast & a VPN to stream UK channels

Hi All,

I regularly watch UK TV on my phone (iPlayer, Channel 5, 4OD etc.) however it won't cast to my TV using my Chromecast. I assume that this is due to the VPN.

I've heard that I can add my NordVPN to my router, however my current router doesn't appear to support a VPN.

Can you please recommend a router that supports NordVPN, under $200? It's just for a house so nothing ridiculously fancy required.

    You should be able to use apps on Chromecast with Google TV

    Getflix is a wayyyyy easier option. Google it :) Edit the DNS settings on any router & the whole home can watch UK TV, get yourself a cheap FireStick & add the UK TV apps to it, no need to cast them.

      Ooh I've never heard of Getflix. Looks like that could be the go. Is it safe?

        I've been using it for many, many years. Works perfectly.
